June 19, 200619 yr The Goblet of Fire is by far the best movie, very gritty but full of action too and the young actors have improved greatly from the first film so the acting isn't as bad either.
June 19, 200619 yr I said CoS btw, GoF would be second but I love the Chamber. The whole movie was very entertaining and the plot of the book is good too. ;)
June 19, 200619 yr GoF all the way. It's full of action and turns the book into something really cinematic rather than a boring page by page translation like the first two.
June 20, 200619 yr Goblet of Fire was very good and contained the best acting performances, but Azkaban was the best shot movie of the four by a long, long way. Alfonso Cuaran should be at the helm for all the remaining films. I also prefer Michael Gambon to Richard Harris now.
June 20, 200619 yr "Azkabhan", things start getting a little darker, the "Night Bus" sequence was hilarious, Gary Oldman and David Thewlis are absolutely fantastic and the direction and scripting are spot on.. "Goblet of Fire" would have been my fave had they not cut so damn much out of the book, the opening sequence in particular should have been spectacular, instead it was p***-poor and heavily edited from the book.... <_< I did enjoy how it ended though with Voldemort reborn in that mist-enshrouded graveyard....
June 25, 200619 yr the first one coz it was my fav book and i liked how they followed the story coz in the last two they just picked the best bits and used them but they missed loads in the last one coz there was hermione's club against cruelty against house elves and ron and hermione falling out and hermione going out with vicktor krum
July 10, 200618 yr Goblet, though I have a feeling OOTP will be my favourite..B) And I still don't like Gambon as Dumbledore..
July 10, 200618 yr Author Goblet, though I have a feeling OOTP will be my favourite..B) And I still don't like Gambon as Dumbledore.. Can you tell me who played Dumbledore in the first and second and why they got rid of to be replaced by Gambon and where is he from? He sounded American.
July 10, 200618 yr Richard Harris played DD in the first 2 movies, but unfortunately, Harris passed away..:( So one way or the other, they had to replace him.. But IMO they made a terrible choice! I think Gambon (who's also from the UK) doesn't portray DD as it should be, and he's nothing like DD in the books..
