to see EUROVISION! :w00t: It's 1 month and a half left but i am SO impatient! I keep telling to everyone that I'm gonna die if Eurovision doesn't start right now!

Let's begin NOW! <_<

But this waiting kind of makes me want to see it more. So i don't even know! :(

Who else is in my situation?

And what are your plans to spend this spectacular night? :o

Plan One: Go to Oslo and meet a HUGE Eurovision Fan and watch ESC ^_^

Plan Two Go to a friend and watch it

Plan Three Watch it with Me, Myself and I

Plan Four Watch it with date/bf

Hoping for plan one! but the problem is that the final is finish late so I can't get home before the day after, and the day after is the national day, so it's allmost impossible to get home in Oslo 17th of May :( WHY did they have to sign the constetution 17th of may??

I have no plans for the night. Everyone I know is on the 'the East just vote for eachother, it's all political' bus, so I just end up getting really mad at them if I watch ESC with my friends.

So it's usually easier for me to watch it alone and savour the moments

But I'd love to go to a huge ESC party :woo:

I'm not too bothered at the moment, I haven't got into the songs quite enough to be overly fussed so far, I'm still getting over Melodifestivalen  give it a month and I'll be there :heehee:

I don't know what I'll be doing, probably just watching it on the TV at home as I always do :heehee:

Agreed - they should have thought about Eurovision 142 years before it was created.

As for me - just watching it at home.

Oh I know... I have this argument all the time with uni people - they're ALL under the influence that we don't get any votes because "no one likes us" until I remind them who we've sent for the past six or seven years and how awful they are, and they even agree they're all $h!t ffs! f***in glad Wogan's not involved anymore...

I wouldn't care, but it just doesn't even make any sense. 25 competitors, can't vote for yourself, choose not to vote for the UK 'because you hate them' - you'd have to vote for 23 countries to NOT vote for the UK, technically. Argh.

I've decided to go home for the Eurovision week, and watch the Semi's and the Final in peace and be proved right -_-

AND what really gets to me ... when I do try and get people to acknowledge that Scooch et al are $h!t, they just respond with 'yeah but Scooch are perfect for Eurovision - so cheesy', at which point I just die inside and lose faith in humanity :(

^LOL!

But i even had worse problem: most of my mates, who usually watch Eurovision, didn't even know who represents Russia almost 1 month after the NF.

Well, of course, i have the same situation with my mates-eurovision-is-a-pure-political-voting-form-of-evil -_- But they honestly think Molitva (been sung by a, i quote, "male-woman") was HORRIBLE!

Exactly. :( One of the best (if not the best) winner of this decade. I kind of think about 2007 as a 'turning point' just because this song won.

195 years -_- :kink:

I think you misread my post - I said they signed the constituition 142 years before Eurovision was created, not 142 years ago.
