Posted April 1, 200916 yr :cheer: :yahoo: :w00t: AUDLEY End’s picnic concerts are back this year with musical favourites packing the line-up. Artists set to grace the historical house’s stage this summer include Jools Holland, Will Young and Katherine Jenkins. Run by English Heritage and IMG, and supported by the News, the season will begin on July 11 with Russell Watson’s voice wowing the crowd. Jools Holland will pick up the baton on July 18 and double BRIT Award-winning singer songwriter Will Young on 25 July. Eighties party favourites are set to get people up and dancing on their picnic blankets on August 1 with legends including The Human League, Belinda Carlisle, ABC, Go West and Heaven 17 all on the bill. On Sunday, August 2, the Last Night of the Audley End Proms will be headlined by Operatic superstar Katherine Jenkins and feature a thrilling Spitfire display. And best of all, all the concerts at Audley End will again conclude with a stunning fireworks finale. Tickets go on sale on Monday, priced between £27 and £30. Did you go to both before? I rate Harewood as one of my ultimate favourite shows, and loved the Pops in 2005, the atmosphere was electric. :dance:

April 6, 200916 yr Think my cousin who lives in Buntingford is due for a visit. :lol: That's the only way I'm going to be able to get there. I know of a very nice field in front of a very nice castle that takes approx 7,000 people. :lol: If only. :(
