was this song actually some sort of parody or was it serious? I'd never heard it before last night when it was on Bliss' 20 Forgotten Boybands. It apparently reached No.19 in the charts in 1996, 3 years after a certain Take That topped the charts with Pray...

 

the song and video are almost exactly the same as Pray, I hope Upside Down got sued :lol:

 

I vaguely remember that boyband - their biggest hit was "Change Your Mind" which was pretty much just a version of George Michael's "Careless Whisper" :lol: Absolutely awful.

They were the subject of a documentary which showed how a pop band was created, think i still have it on

video somewhere.

It was very interesting and was a good insight into how a pop band was set up.

 

Change Your Mind was their debut single.
