Posted April 7, 200916 yr 1. Bosnia & Herzegovina 2. Serbia (& Montenegro) 3. Ukraine Top 2 is leading by a THOUSAND miles.
April 7, 200916 yr Serbia and Montenegro aren't together but are 2 different countries Top 6 : Ireland Finland Montenegro Ukraine Malta Turkey These don't have an order.. sometimes i prefer a song more than another but basically I rate them equally :)
April 7, 200916 yr I'm always fond of Greece, and usually like Sweden and Norway a lot. Ukraine have been consistent, too.
April 7, 200916 yr Author Serbia and Montenegro aren't together but are 2 different countries I'm not stupid, of course, they are! I just ADORED Serbia & Montenegro 2005 and 2006 WOULD'VE been my second best entry of that year had they not withdrawn :( MOJA LJUUUUUUUUBAAAAAAAVIIIIIII :snif: How'd you classify these: as Montenegrin or Serbian? :teresa:
April 7, 200916 yr ... Because Serbia's Song is not good and is far worse than Montenegro.. so it is hard to classify them in the same category.... all I know is that both will give 12 points to each other
April 7, 200916 yr I always usually like the UK entries but I can see that I may be biased  so I'll go with -Sweden (rarely let me down) -Norway (consistently not just good, but amazing) -Switzerland (just ridiculously underrated despite always sending brilliant songs) Malta and Estonia used to be in place of Norway/Switzerland but have been a bit lacklustre in recent years, although both have improved this year
April 8, 200916 yr Malta and Estonia used to be in place of Norway/Switzerland but have been a bit lacklustre in recent years, although both have improved this year Malta only enters with a good song when Chiara does... and Ira Losco is also good but I don't think she's interested in Eurovision.. she's one of the best Malta ever had
April 8, 200916 yr Author ... Because Serbia's Song is not good and is far worse than Montenegro.. so it is hard to classify them in the same category.... all I know is that both will give 12 points to each other I meant how you would distinguish Serbian and Montenegrin entries when these countries have not been separate?
April 8, 200916 yr Hmm there are a few. United Kingdom - We've had some class entries over the years, even if we've derailed slightly just lately. Croatia - Again, gone off the mark quite a bit recently but from 1998 to 2006 they were really good. Greece - Since 1997, I can only fault 2002's entry. Sweden - Carola, Charlotte Nilsson/Perrelli, Lena Philipsson... all good! Serbia - 2004's entry might've been representing Montenegro too, but Zeljko was Serbian and their three solo entries have been good in my eyes. Ukraine - Been consistently good aside from their debut in 2003, oh and that 2005 chant. Russia - Always been very good since 2003, aside from that year when they got points solely from their neighbours... 2005 I think it was.
April 10, 200916 yr I meant how you would distinguish Serbian and Montenegrin entries when these countries have not been separate? I get you now... I never really liked their entries.... First of all -- I don't love the music they get , don't know why.. 2nd -- I don't understand a word.. its not english usually if not always
April 11, 200916 yr Author I meant something else, but it doesn't matter now ;) There're plenty of sites on the internet where you can get the translations. I have been doing it for 2 years now. Plus even without it the language barrier have never been an obstacle for me. I'm Russian who RARELY likes russian songs. lol Edited April 11, 200916 yr by Pavel Af Ugglas
April 26, 200916 yr 1) TURKEY 2) TURKEY 3) TURKEY 4) TURKEY 5) TURKEY GOOD LUCK HADISE-TURKEY!!!! GOOD LUCK OTHER COUNTRIES
June 6, 201312 yr Favourite countries (based on all ESC history, mostly on my favourite ESC era 1965-1985) : 1. United Kingdom [Even with their awful 1998, 1995 entries, there is not any competition for the first place] 2. Ireland [Didn't send bad songs in all long history. Ireland, I love you] Highlight period : 1970-1974 3. Germany [Very good history, this country have the amazing song in every decade from 1950s (Kessler Sisters) to 2010s (Satellite)] 4. Luxembourg [Very similar situation with Ireland. I lost Luxembourg and think, that "Wonderful Dream" is their worst enrty :) ] 5. Norway [it was the third place, before awful songs from 2011, 2013. Strongest opponent for United Kingdom in 1970s. Skorgan, Strom, Sparboe ] Specail mentions : 1. Estonia is my favourite country from the newcomers, also most Andorra songs were very good. 2. Netherlands. It's a coin flip country. They won my rankings 6 times, had many top 3 results (especially in 80s), but I can't push Netherlands in top 5, because some their entries :puke2: Edited June 6, 201312 yr by AlexRange
June 6, 201312 yr Over the last few years, Cyprus, Germany, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Estonia have been the most consistent I think! :D
