Sweden, Ukraine and Azerbaijan have been the only 3 to be almost consistently brilliant, though Sweden had a massive blip in 2010 of course and Ukraine had a bit of a mis-step in 2011 with that boring song with the sand lady. Behind those 3 France have been in my top 10 the last 3 years (and top 5 in 2011 and 2012), the UK have also been in my top 10 each of the last 3 years and Norway the top 5 the last 2 years. Very few countries are consistently brilliant with me though, so it's hard to really make a proper list.

 

In general basically I expect good things from: Sweden, France, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Norway most years and Denmark, Israel, Cyprus, Finland, UK and Iceland more often than not.

Over the last few years, Cyprus, Germany, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Estonia have been the most consistent I think! :D

 

And after John's post, that's reminded me about Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland too. I only like some of Finland's entries however!

Over the last few years I'd say my top 3 would be Sweden, Iceland and Bulgaria with France, Norway, Germany, Israel, Moldova and Ukraine in the pack below that.
