I hope she does really well. It would really damage her credibility and Girls Aloud's credibility if this isn't a success imo.

I think she's taking a big risk for her own image. She is a TV superstar, quite everyone LOVES her at the moment, so trying to make it big on the music scene on her own is a big risk (and wouldn't be necessary considering the huge amount of money and popularity she's already enjoying). I respect her for taking this risk

Not much of a risk for GA though, success or flop, those solo experiences will only make the group comeback even more anticipated :cheer:

Cheryl Cole 'not working with Chris Brown'

Cheryl Cole has "no plans" to record a duet with R&B star Chris Brown, according to a report.

The Girls Aloud singer sparked rumours that she had decided to collaborate with Brown when they were spotted together at a recording studio in Los Angeles recently.

It is believed that their meeting came as Cole worked on her debut solo album with Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am.

An insider told The Mirror: "Chris was in the same studio as Cheryl and he knows Will, so they all met.

"Cheryl is working flat out with Will to perfect her debut album. She has also drafted in Soulshock and Karlin. But there are no plans to duet with Chris."

Earlier this week, Brown issued a public apology for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in February.

Coyle 'creating more buzz' than Cole

Nadine Coyle is outshining her Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole as they both attempt to launch solo careers, it has been reported.

According to the Daily Star Sunday, three top record labels are currently bidding to snap up the Irish singer. She is expected to start work on her solo project later this year.

Meanwhile, X Factor judge Cole recently flew out to Los Angeles to record her forthcoming album. It is believed that she has been back in the studio with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am in recent days.

A source revealed: "The band recently declared there'd be three more Girls Aloud albums. For the next year they're doing their own thing but Nadine is the one creating the biggest buzz in the industry.

"It looks like Universal - a subdivision of the Girls Aloud label Fascination - will produce Nadine's solo shot. But whoever wins her will have to pay a lot because everyone's desperate to sign her. She will get an amazing deal as a result of shopping around."

Girls Aloud completed their 'Out Of Control' tour in June with a final show in Cole's home city of Newcastle.

Cheryl Cole 'desperate' for Barlow ballad

Cheryl Cole is reportedly "desperate" for Gary Barlow to write a ballad for her debut solo album.

According to New magazine, the Girls Aloud star asked Barlow to pen her a song while the pair were climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief earlier this year.

Cole has already secured the help of Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am and Taio Cruz for her solo offering, which is expected to be released later this year.

Barlow has yet to confirm the reports, but told the publication: "Cheryl's great. She's fun, feisty and knows her stuff!"

The 26-year-old has notched up twenty-one Top 10 singles since securing a place in Girls Aloud, including her collaboration with will.i.am on 'Heartbreaker' last year.

Barlow has previously written songs for Delta Goodrem, Blue, Charlotte Church, John Barrowman and H & Claire.

Cruz pens "club banger" for Cheryl Cole

Taio Cruz has revealed that he has written an "absolute club banger" for Cheryl Cole's upcoming debut solo album.

The 'Break Your Heart' star originally wrote the song for his own LP but offered it to Cole after her record company heard it.

"The track is an absolute club banger," he told the Daily Star. "Cheryl will definitely come out of the gates sounding very cool.

"Her label loves the track with my voice singing it, but Cheryl's got a good voice herself. They want me to do a rap in the middle, so it feels very exciting to collaborate with her."

Cruz admitted that he is regularly asked to pen material for other artists and recently worked with X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

"I have a lot of people asking me to write and produce records for them and I'm always up for it. With Alexandra, they want to keep her diva-esque soul voice intact," he said.

"So I've written something she could really sing out. It's still in keeping with what's happening now with the electronic dance music scene too."

Cruz releases new single 'Break Your Heart' on September 14.

I can't imagine her singing a Take That style ballad, but Im sure it would be good as most songs Gary writes are great
I honestly dont think cheryls voice is strong enough to do a big ballad, dont get me wrong i think gary and cheryl would work very well together but im not sure her voice would suit that style of work.

According to an article, Nick Knight has shoot the cover of the album at the end of the July !

I didn't know much of him but I've done some research and his work is impressive ! :o

Can't wait to see what the cover (and the booklet) looks like !

If you wanna see some of his work : http://www.nickknight.com/
