Over the next few days i will reveal what are my faveourite take that/solo songs in a countdown so i would appreciate some comments from you guys also, this usually helps us s see the various opinions on songs and how we all have different tastes

tonight i will reveal numbers 15 and number 14

15th Place

Reach Out (taking from beautiful world)

Great opening song to one of the most important albums of their career and set a good indicator for the album, its a sweet song and catchy and was indeed single worthy and not everyone may agree but i think it would have made a far better single than id wait for life, which i might add is a nice song but was more an album song than a single.

14th place

4 Minute warning by mark

It was a great comeback from mark after reviving his music career after winning celebrity big brother,it did well for a single and i think is his 3rd most successfull selling single, very radio friendly very catchy and very mark you see he is happy on that style of song,i still enjoy the song and listen to if often enough as i have it on own homemade take that greatest hits album

Both songs are favorites of mine :cheer: .

Reach Out is one of the few Barlow songs i really love (perhaps it helps that it is not such a typical ballads, i am not very much in pop-ballads more in kind of rock-ballads  ).

4 minutes warning: i like it especially because of the lyrics. And that harmonica at the begining is so cool!!! :w00t:

ya bith are good and im glad you also like them shame reach out didnt make it as a uk single!!

13 TH POSITION

Everything Changes good song although i think there were other non number 1 singles that deserved number 1 more than this, still a number 1 it was and it did very well, its a catchy song and one of the songs robbie had a big part in,i dont listen to this all the time but there are phases when i love the song and gives me get up and go feeling

Not so keen on Everything changes. It is a nice pop-song but nothing more.

I hate the single Everything Changes ... but I loved it sung live on both the Ultimate Tour and the Beautiful World Tour! Rob's voice was a little too insipid on the single - but then again ... I don't think he put much effort into anything he did with Take That - he was obviously saving himself for 'greater' things.

So help me girl(gary) love this song and such a shame it landed at the dreaded number 11 as in so close to the top 10 but not close enough,i remember at the time working with a few people who werent gary/.take that/ robbie fans but 2 of them liked this song they said it was different to what they usually do,,it helped album sales and to me was far better than love wont wait

11th position clementine by mark

loved this and was a great follow up to child as it was very differnt which showd the differnt styles of the album,i have to say mark's green man album was great and the singles really did reflect the overall sound of the labum very well

10th Pray take that well the first number 1 for them and i remember been so happy they got number 1 that time,i dont like the video for this at all as its too gay but its a catchy song that still sounds good today

Pray video made me to don't be a fan the first time  . It has every clishee of what i hate in the music bussiness.

Clementine is a very good song. I like the most at the Green Man the lyrics - apart from Child i wish he would rerelease this album with new versions with his voice from now - it developed so much. Only Child won't benefit from it - it has to have that frail voice to be a special song. But my fav on the Green Man have to be Secondhand wonderland and Move on  .

Move on is a great song but i disagree about child i loved it at the time and i still think it is mark;s best song,i was sure at the time it would go to number 1 and i was so disappointed when it entered at number 3 the album placings was also so so diappointiing and to this day is still a very under rated album, at the time i dont think anyone expected that style of album by a member of take that especially mark

10th position

Gary Open road great title for the album and funnily his life for a few years after really was an open road,it was good choice as single and again i felt was better than so help me girl, still open road gave gary his 3rd and final solo top 10 hit

I don't feel I have the right to make any comments on any TT songs, whether they be a grouip or solo effort, seeing as haven't heard any of their stuff, save for that live version of Rule The World someone showed me a couple months back, so, with this post, I'll shut my yap, and not get in the way of you happy commenters. :)
