The former 1960s heartthrob with The Herd; later formed blues rock outfit Humble Pie with Steve Marriott of the Small Faces before launching a very lucrative solo arena rock career in the 1970s until the new wave movement came along.

Were you ever a fan of the former school class mate of Date Bowie (who played on his 1987 Never Let Me Down album & Glass Spider tour) or not?

the herd were awesome! loved 'paradise lost' , 'from the underworld' and 'i dont want our loving to die' along with humble pies hit 'natural borm bugie', however his solo material was imho pretty lame...
Big fan of the Herd & Humble Pie, thought his solo album Frampton comes alive was pretty good too. Stand out songs for me are the ones mentioned above.
