I think you have missed out Ukraine. I have put an each way bet of £5 on Svetlana, because having seen her at the preview party last night, she is FIERCE :wub:

I have seen Be My Valentine's Music video :wub: She's Fierce, I agree. Btw she used to be the part of one of the most successful Russian girlgroups, called "Via Gra". Well, they're like UK's Sugababes. (I.E. changing girls every month :kink: )

Yeah. They released their English language songs as Nu Virgos in (Western) Europe and most of Asia, but as VIA Gra in Japan :) Good Morning Daddy is the best song on the album, Kill My Girlfriend is also good :) Hang on *lightbulb switches on in head* :kink:

As much as i love Ukranian entry this year I'd be GUTTED if it overtakes Fairytale :snif:

I have REALLY changed my mind about that. Having seen Ukraine live, I think it is a serious challenger. Norway has a better song, but I don't think it totally comes together in performance... We will see :)

I don't really understand each way bets...does this mean you get (less) money back if they come second? I agree that Fairytale looks completely unbeatable but I do like to cover other bases :lol: I keep forgetting about the jury vote, theirs no way they'll go for Sveltana :heehee:

Say you put a £2 each way bet on Denmark at 80/1.

 

£1 is a bet on Denmark winning, so you would win £80, while the other £1 is bet on Denmark finishing anywhere in the top 4. So you would win £20 should they finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th.

 

Also, I think if they were to win, you would win the £80 for the bet on them winning, and also the £20 you win for them finishing in the top 4, so a win would actually get you £100.

My Top 3 now is Norway, Ukraine and Azerbaijan (I hope I'm wrong about the third). Ukraine seems to be getting 3rd second place in a row :heehee:

I love Ukraine's song... but I don't think she will end up with the top 3... But you can't actually say Norway is unbeatable... IF a good song enters with a fabulous performance... Performances might change your mind... Ukraine's performance was weird .. and their New Version which is really different is much better!
