Really don't like it, I really dislike the song it samples. I was the same with 'Right Round' at first, but I don't think my opinion will change on this.

It's Kristinia btw.

A bit generic and I hate this new trend of sampling old songs. Her voice is really weak and whiny too.
im 50/50 on this at the moment sounds good in parts but also quite annoying she is very pretty though

A Def Jam-signed 19 year old.

Song is pretty irresistable, much as I wanted to. :( :heehee:

I have to say this has one of the catchiest choruses in a LONG time. It's pretty good. I don't know if they intend to market her akin to Rihanna/Shontelle or Miley Cyrus in terms of the intended age of the audience, but it bridges the gap between the two quite nicely. Attitudey lyrics and really decent production.

I think mainstream pop has gone full circle again. It got good but now there's a load of new crappy acts which are just doing poor imitations of stuff from a few years ago.

Well of course it is a catchy chorus, its taken from a seminal UK girl group pop classic:

Bananarama - Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye (1983 UK#5)

I wonder whether a US Urban Pop act will use Call The Shots or Push The Button as their musical bed for a track in 2034!

LOL!

Bananarama covered it...

The original is from 1969

YUCK. Nothing says stand out to me about this. The rip off parts sound really corny. Haven't even heard of this until now!

This is doing shockingly well in the US:

Pop Airplay

45 38 KRISTINIA DEBARGE Goodbye 939 497 442 10.292

+65 Spins

+8 Bullet

+0.573 Audience

US iTunes: 40

:o

This is good but nothing "wow"

I think it lacks something in the chorus.
