The only tunes I like on there are My Mistakes (which I more than love) and Viva La Vida - all the rest is a bit pants (not including the theme tunes which I don't know much of). I'm so sick of the Duffy stuff - that Pepsi ad has really put me off her now - she sounds like a fluffy Disney Duck! Ting Tings ain't bad I suppose.

 

By the way ... I've actually downloaded that LSP's song ... and I love it - can you recommend other tracks to download from the album (I'm being very selective with my iTunes account - so I'm not buying/downloading whole albums from now on!)

My personal faces are Standing Next To You and Meeting Place. Everyone seems to have different opinions about what their best song is though. :lol:

I really hope they do win, although I agree, Elbow probably will. They seem to win everything at the moment...

'My Mistakes Were Made for You' is so underrated, even by me. It wasn't very instant with me, I only realised its brilliance recently.

 

Norma, I'd suggest 'Standing Next to Me' also, but with 'The Age of the Understatement' too (unless you have that already?).

Basically, my favourites are the singles!

I much like other songs of TLSP. "Meeting place" and 'Standing Next to Me' have to be my fav at the moment.

Nope it wasn't, well definitely not mainstream wise.

 

I remember when the nominations were announced trhe medias focus of attention reall was on that nomination because no-one had ever really heard of him/the song before!

Well as I predicted Elbow beat LSP in Best Song catergory. No suprise or shame really.
