What I mean is some country juries might see Norway has such high odds to win (or other countries with good odds) and they might not give it anything to try and prevent it from winning (or at least weaken the countries votes for that country and strengthen it's votes for less likely winners) and give their own country a better chance.

How likely do you think this is? It's something I've been wondering about.

I can see some juries being a bit sneaky and completly ignoring the favourite Norway.....

It's possible, of course. Each jury has someone monitoring them in the decision making process, but it's obviously possible for any jury member to influence the votes by voting for their favourite song - if they're adamant it's their favourite song, there's not much any adjudicator can do about it.

But it's a bit pointless, and petty. But possible...

Seeing that our Russian NF Juries have chosen this, this and this to the National Final, I don't think they will be voting for something incredible and that definitely worth points like UK's or Norwegian entry. (Of course if the juries will remain the same, or at least part of them).

So YES. cheesy Azerbaijan and EAR-RAPING Belarus for the Russian Juries favourite! :cheer:

:manson:

Almost definitely the jury will vote politically in most countries. But then public votes are quite political as well. If 30 % of winning chance is based on the quality of the song, 70 % is based on the likeability of that country by its neighbours etc. i think.
