This was/is the most anticipated movie of the year for me but after 4 days i still got it downloaded in my folder unwatched. :(

I think watching it at home is really the only way to get any actual enjoyment out of it... A cinema screen just seems to magnify all the flaws within the film.... I've often found this with certain films I've seen at the cinema.. They seem a bit less naff watched at home on video/DVD.....

Oh, mates, alcohol and a curry help too.......

Just watched it.

I was LMFAO when they showed the British Queen. But the Russian President was far more LOL. I mean when they will stop using such USSR-ish Stalin, Gorbachev, Yeltsin cliches??!

Also i noticed that every person who was with the family DIED during thei journey, except for those chinese guys. And they didn't even remember the death of that woman with the dog, the gf of the russian guy with those 2 fashionably cut little youngsters ( ) in the end!!! :( I was crying on that scene when she saw the dog out there and called him, i thought she won't make it. But i was worried about the dog LOL.

This was SO War Of the Worlds. At least judging on 'divorced-daddy-saves-the-family-parents-back-together' conception. Was underwhelming. They could do one child only, or to make a GIRL instead of a boy ignore the dad (like Noah acted towards Jackson). [Also LMAO nice chosen name for a character who stayed alive - NOAH.] ] I think they were too busy making up the special effects they forgot some other more important things.

Overally, it was quite underwhelming. The only character i was worried about in this movie was the dog, that surely says something.

I only enjoyed it, yeah. But now everyone's trying to make money from the idea of the world's end in 2012.
