Here is what we have to report about the song. » It is called 'Battlefield'. » It is written by Ryan Tedder. » It is sort of mid tempo R&B. » Its chorus ends with a big cry of "why does love always feel like a BATTLEFIELD! LIKE A BATTLEFIELD! LIKE A BATTLEFIELD! Why does love always feel like a BATTLEFIELD! LIKE A BATTLEFIELD! LIKE A BATTLEFIELD!" » To start with you think 'this isn't up to much' then by the end of it you think 'this is going to be Number One for precisely 2.5 months'. » There is a brilliant middle eight where everything falls out and it's just Jordin bellowing "LIKE A BATTLEFIELD! LIKE A BATTLEFIELD!" and then it all crashes back in and THEN it all falls out again AND THEN it all goes back in again and it's all jolly good. » The End. The End.

April 28, 200916 yr Someone asked the guitarist if its anything like "Halo" and this is what he said: Mad_Money1@mondayvacation nah it's way different. Much more uptempo. A lot of people high up are very excited for the release, should blow up fast!

April 29, 200916 yr As great as 'Halo' is we don't want tonnes of carbon copies of it running around the charts or it'll be like Timbaland whoring himself everywhere all over again. That said this does sound promising and I look forward to hearing it. Jordin Sparks had 4 great singles from her last album even if the rest of it was rather dull.

I agree with this, everyone seems to want a bit of the Tedder after "Bleeding Love". I just hope people aren't bored of them by the time Leona inevitably comes back with another big ballad from him. Looking forward to seeing this American Idol performance of it. ^_^ That must be coming in about...2 weeks?
