#4 Britney Spears

I no longer study Kabbalah, my baby is my religion.

Like a slightly unhinged chameleon, Britney Spears can change her appearance at the drop of a hat. From schoolgirl to diva, through doting mother to... well, yes, there may have been a slight blip when she and K-Fed split, what with the hair shaving, bingeing and showing off the contents of her 'purse' to all and sundry. But Britney's stormed back up the list and - after a rumoured £60,000 makeover - she's looking, if not her best, then a pretty good approximation of what she once was.

Very good and very accurate if you ask this man.

Wow, that's pretty great considering I don't seem to know anyone else in the top 10 besides Cheryl Cole. I don't get really why she is #1 honestly...

So tell me, what's prevented Britney fans from doing a similar campaign last year when Britney didn't even chart on the very same list?

Well it seems you have already made a mistake saying she wasn't in the list last year as according to the OP she was top 60 last year and she was Ms Trainwreck extrordinaire then which with such lack of popularity would make it more difficult for even an online campaign to succeed, aswell as the fanbase itself being contracted.

The campaign is based were brit actually HAS a sizable diehard fanbase (to be able to create a significant enough result) that would be anal enough do this kind of thing ( ie NOT from the UK). ie from the USA like EXHALE who R running a similar campaign on the UK mag "Glamour magazine" at the moment - with most of the voting coming from USA fans LOL @lack of integrity!

Considering Brits popularity was at its lowest at the time of last year's list its quite possible something more minor like a UK (as opposed to a US) mag could well have been overlooked/missed by many (if not all ) big US online forums.

See easilly explained, sorry but in the UK its only a few gay fans that think she is still "hot" - she no longer has that fantasy figure (tiny waist making her boobs look big cf opposite situation now with "NORMAL" "ordinary woman" size waist) that Jive promoted to death and so everyone (esp STR8 men) still expects.

Not welcome because i don't agree with jive's propaganda/producing such a soulless, calculated, insipid, puppeted manufactured product or the renown delusion/mentality of the brit fans ? NORMALLY i don't frequently post in your forum it would just cause pointless irritation, i realize but because i make the ODD negative opinion/post to YOUR SACRED OPINIONS/unchallengeable BELIEFS now and again here, its NOT welcome - that speaks VOLUMES about the strength + integrity of your fandom if you can't take just a BIT of negative challenging to your views/ criticism now + again imo.

PS I take it as a great complement that YOU personally judge me to talk out of my arse given your overall blatantly displayed ignorance of the UK chart (sales trends etc) and the endless number of times your Britney (UK chart) predictions recorded throughout the Buzzjack forum rarely match anywhere near the resulting reality, yet U continue making misguided predictions with such assurance ? :whip: ;)

Wrong on so many levels, especially the bold part.

I'm straight and I think she's the fittest she's ever been. One sexy momma!

And although I like her music, I don't think I could be called a die-hard fan, as I've only really liked her for the last year or so.

I find Britney's music to be dreadful 90% of the time. I've also never found her particularly attractive, she was way overrrated. Since she 'got better' for want of a better phrase she's been stunning most of the time I've seen her.

Ummm yeah. I don't care if people come in here and voice their opinion against her. I don't care if someone comes in here and says they dislike a song or her, but you just go out of your way to p*** members off. You have slagged off Britney fans in here and that is something that I will not deal with. I'm sorry that I hope she charts high, usually she does better in the UK then most markets, and if you look at her past chart runs I think you could agree with that fact.

You are giving yourself way too much credit, I really could care less what you think about Britney, she is still making millions and everyone in here is still enjoying her music. But when you go on and on about your personal agenda against Britney it gets annoying, and most of the time you are not even talking about the topic at hand, you just blabber on about your disgust for a woman you don't even know. Your posts get deleted when you don't stay on topic, that's the fact, now get over it, and while your at it please come to realize we understand you think she is a manufactured, unattractive pop singer, you have said it in countless posts.

Now please do get on with the minutes you waste replying to topics in here, because your the one surrounding yourself with pessimistics, not us.
