Posted April 24, 200916 yr Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly decided to quit The Pussycat Dolls in order to focus on her solo career. The 30-year-old fuelled speculation that she was leaving the dance troupe after their latest single 'Jai Ho!' was released under the name 'Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger'. According to reports, the star will leave the chart-topping group after they complete promotion for their latest album Doll Domination. "The big reason most people believe is that Nicole has actually now LEFT the Pussycat Dolls but is still remaining with them until the Doll Domination era is over," blogger Perez Hilton commented. During their recent European tour, Scherzinger performed their song 'Hush Hush' on her own while the other girls were backstage. The singer previously failed in a bid to launch a successful solo career. Her album Her Name Is Nicole was shelved after singles 'Baby Love' and 'Whatever U Like' failed to score highly in the charts. Melody for lead vocals FTW!
April 24, 200916 yr Hmmm I'm not sure if this is a wise move, I know some people dislike Nicole but she is a huge asset to PCD and she's what makes them so popular, whereas the general public aren't really that familiar with the other girls of PCD. But we shall see ... oh and I doubt Nicole's second attempt at a solo career will be successful if it wasn't the first time LOL.
April 24, 200916 yr No surprise really, she is the only person on vocals mostly! Melody will hopefully get lead vocals.
April 24, 200916 yr Does anyone think that if she does leave, the group will either break up or record an album and fail terribly with it?
April 24, 200916 yr I think they will continue and do a third album if she leaves but i dont think it will do well, likewise i dont think nicole will have a huge solo career so really i feel she shouldnt leave
April 25, 200916 yr she will try solo again and fail and will want to reunite will the Dolls but they will have found someone to replace her and PCD will live on for a few more years.
