Posted April 26, 200916 yr In a new interview, Aly stated that the new single comes out in the summer with the album following later in the year. Also, apparently the album is strictly ROCK, not pop/rock. (The reason i posted this in here was cos one, its Aly & AJ, and two, they are signed onto Hollywood which isnt a huge rock label and are mainly pop). Finally she said that they have been working with huge names and producers but she didnt say who.

April 28, 200916 yr Hey guys hope you're all doing well! ...The album is sounding really amazing so far and is definitely a bit heavier than Insomniatic. Don't worry not crazy heavy but it's got lots of guitars and definitely a more rockin' feel. We think you'll really dig it and can't wait to share the final version with you. May 25, 200916 yr heard that they are not blending their voices as much on this record, so you know who's singing and some songs are more by aly and others by aj... new single expected end of june/july (rumored title; 'the next person') and album in august :D.

June 18, 200916 yr Interesting... They stated that they were currently finalizing the record and wanted to focus on that at the moment. Aly stated on an interview that they have been working really hard and mentioned a track on the album and a possible new single entitled "The Next Worse Thing". The girls are rumored to have been working with Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, AFI, Sum 41) and Rob Cavallo (Green Day, the Goo Goo Dolls, Paramore) who are producers in the rock genre. On June 10, 2009, three extra song titles were announced from the upcoming album; being "Lovesick", "Bullet", and "The Edge". All three songs were written by Aly & AJ, Leah Haywood and Daniel James. June 28, 200916 yr There are a lot of unanswered questions about what our single is going to be and the names of the tracks on our record. We have never been in a rush for this record. We ended up writing 50 songs (:o) for this one album. We have now narrowed it down to our favs. There's not one song on this record we don't believe in. We can't wait to play every single one live. It kills Into The Rush & Insomniatic. The single has not been decided on because there are so many choices! This record will drop in the fall. We need ur help to rally the fans. As well as people who aren't aware of our music. It's really important to buy the album the first week of sales. Here are some song titles, Say Hello, Damaged (Which we co-wrote with Nancy Wilson of Heart) Civilian, and Next Worst Thing (Co-written with Rivers Cuomo of Weezer). Brace yourselves, more to come.
