Azerbaijan isn't BAD, more just the kind of thing we're accustomed to from the Greeks...

I swear if Serbia qualifies and Ireland doesn't I'll have to punch somebody in the face -_-

Then explain how, in 2006, we gave our 10 to Lithuania in the Semifinal as well as the Final.

I can't explain that :heehee: in a nutshell, and maybe I used the wrong examples to illustrate my point, I meant that the fan favourites will always do better when it's mainly the fans watching (i.e. in the semis)

Serbia's track is awful but they are truly worshipped in ESC with whatever they happen to send  :(

So, Oro was awful *too*?! :snif:
At least this year they have divided the "even if they would not bother to stage for the performance they would still qualify with three minutes of silence" countries equally for the semis. Semi 1 has: Turkey, Bosnia (and Armenia) and semi 2 has Serbia, Ukraine (and Azerbaijan).

I liked Oro actually and Molitva, but not their other entries, but all of their entries have been overrated to the max, certainly not the boyband in 2005

I like this post

Croatia are another one of these countries...it amazes me just what they can take to the final, if Belgium or the Netherlands sent some of the stuff Croatia have been sending they would quite rightfully come last with nul points

Lithuania are different though - same as Poland. The amount of them living in the UK means that they're always going to get a decent set of points, particularly in the semi-final!

I really hope ireland go through in the semi final as i really think it deserves to ireland should also benefit from lithuania been in the same semi final as the drummer in the irish band is lithuanian so hopefully they will get votes from lithuania in support alone
you can always see the difference in the way the UK votes in the semis and the final

as the ESC fans and few others all watch and vote in the semis we voted for Portugal and Sweden (fan favourites) and then as soon as the casual TV watcher has some input we end up giving 10 points to 'hilarious' stuff like 'We Are The Winners' and 'Wolves Of The Sea' instead of the actually good songs -_-

Well, it could be worse - had Ireland used their televoting rather than their jury, their 12 would be going to Austria. :puke:

Well, I loved Wolves of the Sea. It was a unique song, with pirates costumes :w00t:

I also loved We Are the Winners! They were both awesome
