Last night we schlepped over to The O2 for the final UK date on Pink's 'Funhouse' tour. As the title of this post suggests, we really quite enjoyed ourselves. Here's why:

1. It's a combination of pop show production values - complete with snappy dance routines, ridiculous costumes, lots of glitter, props aplenty and a stage set featuring giant slides - and So What I'm Still A Rock Star attitude.

2. Although she's here to promote her latest album - after which the tour is named of course - Pink doesn't shy away from performing her best-known tunes. 'Just Like A Pill', 'Get The Party Started', 'U + Ur Hand', 'Don't Let Me Get Me' and a stripped-back version of 'Trouble' are all present and correct.

3. Pink has the balls to cover 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and the swagger to get away it.

4. She also purrs her way though 'I Touch Myself', straddling the back of a big red sofa, while being groped by hands that pop up from under the cushions. Ooh, frisky!

5. A five-song acoustic set, including a really quite lovely rendition of 'I Don't Believe You', gives Pink a chance to show off her voice.

6. It's a horribly over-used word, but Pink's trapeze routines to 'Sober' and 'Get The Party Started' are genuinely breathtaking - insomuch as we actually did gasp.

7. Unlike several pop superstars we could mention, Pink is capable of bantering with her audience in quite a natural way. When the crowd begins to shower her with cuddly toys, she deadpans: "I like lots of things - chocolate, diamonds..."

8. When she sings the Britney Spears line in 'Don't Let Me Get Me', Pink touches her... well... pink.

9. 'So What' concludes with a huge onstage pillow fight. Nuff said, right?

10. Even though the sequencing is a bit questionable - lots of big tunes are tossed off at the start, there's one too many covers at the end - the highlights come so thick and fast that it feels almost rude to mention it. By the way, you can view pictures from the tour by clicking here.

Brilliantly said :D Couldnt agree more.

01. There's no denying this, it was a great show. I was really impressed with how show-y it was.

02. I actually appreciated this, I think the picked the best songs from the current album and skipped the tracks most of us probably go when we play it anyway. Personally I would have rather seen her do "God Is A DJ" or "Lady Marmalade" over "Don't Let Me Get Me", "Trouble" or "Family Portrait" but can see why they weren't performed.

03. Loved it.

04. Didn't like it so much, was alright. The hands were creepy!

05. On the whole I enjoyed this bit. Not sure what version of "I Don't Believe You" they watched, it was hard to enjoy as she kept pausing and laughing/playing with the crowd during the performance. Shame as it was one of my most anticipated performances of the night. We she was singing, it was really good though.

06. Amazing. Everyone was fixated on her.

07. I loved this about her, she was really warm and funny with the crowd. Shame it kinda intervened with the acoustic set as those were generally meant to be the more serious songs.

08. I didn't notice this.

09. I loved this, it seemed so random. I was just watching the pillow fight for most of the song.

10. This was something I noticed too. In the last 7 songs there are 2 singles, 3 covers and 2 album tracks. One of those singles was in the encore anyway, by which point people had started leaving. She also had two of her biggest hits right after the first performance. Perhaps swapping the second and third batches around might have worked better?

Overall though it was quite amazing. I kinda want to write everything down so I don't forget it but it'll just be a big mess of excitement.
