Today in this mtv european chart forom mtv.de there are six new entries: Britney Spears (n°20), Pet Shop Boys(n°18), Taylor Swift(n°14), Razorlight(n°11), A.R.Rahman ft. The Pussycat Dolls(n°8) and Amy Macdonald (n°2). The last two new entries are in top 10.

The songs that are out from this chart are: Lily Allen(last week n° 20 position),Kevin Rudolf ft. Lil' Wayne (last week n° 19 position),Kate Perry (last week n° 17 position),Akon (last week n° 15 position, Enrique Iglesias ft. Ciara (last week n° 12 positon) and Mando Miao (last week n° 9 position).

Today there is also a follow of Lady Gaga: she climbs of 15 position. Also T.I. and Justin Timberlake climb of 10 position.

Up 6 position is Kid Cudi vs. Crookers. And also one artist is going up 6 position in this chart: Lady Gaga with "Just Dance".

And the number one is Lady Gaga with "Pokerface" and remain in the same positon of the last week.

 

Amy McDonalds never charted before? Woah :blink: Why now?

I suppose that maybe, she decides to come out before in few countries ( for example in England, in Italy, in Ireland, in Germany, etc...) to see that her single becomes famous. After this success of her single she decides to go out in the rest of Europe. And when she comes out, she goes straight to n° 2 position. This is what I think about her later comes out.

LOL @ Amy MacDonald. That MTV chart is so not accurate anymore :lol: :(

 

I used to love the European Top 20 in the 90s. It means now nothing for me anymore.

Yes, it has become a complete chaos. Each MTV (apart from the Baltic ones) seems to have a different interpretation of the Eurochart! Which just shows that this isn't the real European Top 20 - otherwise the chart would have been the same for all MTV's...

Still, it's good to see that at least on mtv.tv they have updated a whole Top 20. And with its help we can reconstruct the previous week's chart. Only number 19 and 20 are missing - those are obviously the songs that went out. Now if only we could find out which songs occupied these two positions...

The chart on mtv latvia is the real chart of europe but I think also that the other european charts are interesting because they show a different songs in different country.

Kid Cudi vs. Croooker stay in the same positon of last week. But the song "Wire to wire" by Razorlight is up 8 position and entry in top 10.

James Morrison with Nelly Furtado is up 6 position at n°4. The top 3 remains the same of last week.
