Posted May 6, 200916 yr There was a loophole in the contest and you managed to enter a fake country (like the countries from buzzjack song contest) and as soon as they discovered it was a mistake it was too late to change things and you were like bound by law to forever be able to participate in the contest if you wanted to. That would be so funny, but it would probably be really stressful having to get somebody to sing and write the songs when there would only be 1 citizen of your fake country, you! :P What do people think, I often have dreams of Dalisska performing in the actual esc, I guess I'll have to find some uncharted land somewhere in europe, call it Dalisska and forc.....ask people to live there so we can have a population and then enter Esc :P Edit: omg I just had this mad idea, we should try and get loads of people to join a digital country on the internet and become citizens and then enter ESC  Edited May 6, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238
May 6, 200916 yr FSR Rontvia could run Russia and Ukraine close :kink: that would be funny though, some sort of BJSC/ESC crossover!!! How would Mdice stand up to the political voting :o
May 6, 200916 yr Author I wonder what would happen if we all sent letters to ESC next year asking if our countries could join ESC. :kink:
May 6, 200916 yr We would have to have a TV station and join the EBU... then we could have a BJSC Song For Europe... and the winner could go to the contest :kink: By the way, what came of that idea to have the BJSC countires vote on the Eurovision songs this year?
May 6, 200916 yr Author I was just thinking, if ESC allows imaginary languages why won't it allow imaginary countries? Edited May 6, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238

I can't see many of the BJSC participants doing that :snif:

That would be rather fantastic, but we'd have to get out of our penchant for sending big artists with songs released before October of the prior year that don't get released until the contest, especially with songs longer than 3 minutes :kink: I somehow doubt Quicksand would do too well at the ESC! Not A Love Song could do quite well though... And on that idea, I just asked this afternoon in the mod thread if anyone would be willing to pick it up, but no response ;_; I can't do it this week as I'm too busy! :( Out of interest, are any of you able to run the BJESC this year? I've not got much time on my hands with exams etc., but it would involve the creation of a semi-final thread in the BJSC forum (but moving it to the ESC forum immediately with a source link in the BJSC forum for promotion ^_^), along with normal hosting duties. Experience says it is nowhere near as popular as BJSCs, so it won't be too demanding. Semi results would be next Monday, with the final thread created immediately and results on the Friday night! Either of you willing? Recaps will probably already exist for the semis online, but I'm sure JamesP would be willing to do a final recap for whomever takes on the job...just use Wikipedia for the semi final order/participants etc. ^_^
