Their debut pop percussion heavy teen pop outfit from 1982 soon split up after their debut album, but singer/songwriter/guitarist Nick Heyward went on to have solo success to decreasing returns commercially throughout the next two decades.

Were you ever fans of Nick Heyward's breezy commercial pop or did you find it a bit too twee for your liking?

after just discribing hermans hermits as 'twee' i see it crops up again! lol..

thought they were ok... liked 'favourite shirts' and 'nobodies fool'..

My mum liked Nick Heyward, "a nice, young lad" she called him....

So, being a bit of a bolshie little sod, it kind of involved me sort of disliking him.....

In retrospect, nothing special, nothing awful either...... You'd listen to it if it was on the radio, but you wouldn't really go out of your way to listen to it.....

Lightweight, yes, but catchy pop none the less. My all time favourite song by Nick Heyward wasn't a hit, called The World from 1995. Great song, deserved to be a hit.
