Flirty This Morning host Fern Britton went down on her knees yesterday – for a close-up view of singer Darius Danesh’s jeans.

And the giggling TV host announced she wanted to MARRY the Pop Idol hunk after he appeared as a model on her daytime show.

Darius, dating Natasha Henstridge, said: “I thought I’d come and give you a little surprise.â€

And Fern, 48, held onto the Scots Colourblind star, right, then replied “I’ve gone a teeny bit weak. Hang on to me Darius!â€

As the camera panned down to the singers jeans Fern followed it, laughing: “Shall we move down together?†She added: “its official we’re engaged.â€

And Darius then told her: “You are gorgeous
