Posted May 10, 200916 yr If you're gonna lip sync please be this fierce please. Yeah the tour is awesome, but after seeing Paula I'm just like :o. TAKE TIPS BRIT, PLEASE. You can do this, you did it just as intense in the Mannequin rehearsal video less then a year ago, so GET WITH IT. 9RM3REbkzmw I'm not saying every performance on the tour has to be this intense, but maybe just 2 or 3 out of the whole set?
May 10, 200916 yr common Tyler...Paula was on break for 14 years and we all know how Britney was 1998-2004...none of Paula moves came close to hers :P
May 10, 200916 yr I didn't get the hype around that performance its like she didn't do anything amazing, she should watch Ciara, Pussycat Dolls or an even better idea herself a few years back.
May 10, 200916 yr Why would Britney want to lip-sync to a ridiculously autotuned song? Couldn't they have at least taken it off to make it seem as if she was singing?
May 10, 200916 yr Author THE DANCING PPL. THE DANCING. And what's the point in making it sound real, lip syncing is lip syncing.
May 10, 200916 yr After seeing that i agree with Tyler, she was amazing and at her age aswell... I wish Britney did dance like this still :(
May 11, 200916 yr i know right? I watched this the other day.. I was pretty shocked! My favorite part is when she jumps of the podium into the guys arms! FIERCE!
May 11, 200916 yr THE DANCING PPL. THE DANCING. And what's the point in making it sound real, lip syncing is lip syncing. What are you talking about? We all know Britney did it on her lil promo tour. :kink: I really wish Britney would go back to the awesome choreography she did around the Britney and In The Zone eras. I miss that Britney tons. :( She's still doing great now but I think that was her prime time especially when it came to the moves.
May 11, 200916 yr Author Dare I say she is boring me and I'm kinda going off of her. Of course I will always LOVE her, but the pedestal is coming doooowwwnnn.
May 11, 200916 yr You know you still love her with all of your heart. :P I think the whole conservatorship and her not having much freedom at all is still putting a damper on her career, or at the least, her fans. I mean there's still no fan interaction! And if there is it is highly controlled where it doesn't even seem like it's Britney herself interacting. More like a Brit-bot in my opinion. I dearly miss the days of seeing her on talk shows and doing real interviews. And yes, the real choreography too.
May 11, 200916 yr Author Yes I luff her. I'm ready for her to finish this tour, sort out this conservatorship and take a break and then move on with the next era.
May 11, 200916 yr Dare I say she is boring me and I'm kinda going off of her. Of course I will always LOVE her, but the pedestal is coming doooowwwnnn. BLASPHEME! :o But on a serious note... Fair enough, i'm going to see her next month at the O2 arena, and I genuinely wouldn't mind if she mimed due to putting on one hell of a show in terms of performance, but from what i've seen on YouTube it seems like the same as all of her TV performances - very lacklustre with lots of walking around, hand waving and rubbing her hands together. The album's great and the tour's doing great too, but I would have preferred her to take a break after Blackout and come back with a real bang, with something she would put everything she had into. And regardless of what her die-hard fans say, this is NOT everything she's got. Looking at her performances now in comparison to those from the In The Zone era, it looks like she's had a stroke since and finds it difficult to move most of her body. She isn't the same Britney, the old Britney had "fire" in her and a real flare for performing, this Britney seems pretty bored and unhappy to be there unfortunately. Alas, I continue to be a fan. :teresa:
May 11, 200916 yr Author I agree. I think as she continues to get better the fire will come back. But right now I'm unsatisfied... I loved the tour, but I think that's mostly because Britney Spears was right in front of my face... you know what I mean? I want In The Zone performance Britney back.
May 12, 200916 yr I want In The Zone performance Britney back. AGREED. I was watching her ABC special the other day and I miss that Britney soooo much!

May 12, 200916 yr I think you're right ... but I also think she had to do this now. I think in some ways she had to prove she was, at least, well enough to do this ... even if this isn't as amazing as In The Zone, she had to prove she was stable enough to do 46 NA dates, and then a whole load of European ones, just to get people off her back for a little while.

I think one of the main reasons this era happened is so that she can get some credibility back on her side so that she can end the conservatorship and perhaps get full custody of her kids back.
May 12, 200916 yr I would say this tour has benefited her loads as well. I'm sure it has boosted her confidence quite a bit and she's said she loves doing it. Not to mention it keeps her busy and out of trouble.
