Posted May 10, 200916 yr The video for Love Story has finally surfaced after Mariah confirmed last year that it would be the third single from E=MC2 and that it would be a follow on from Bye Bye. Obviously it was cancelled after BB flopped but still here it is: Love Story Video
May 11, 200916 yr Oh yeah...i remember those rumours....SO GLAD this was never a single!!!! it's all a bit too :puke2: for me lol!
May 11, 200916 yr Oh my god  She does it again <3 This really would have been dreadful if released.
May 11, 200916 yr I still love the track because it represents a part of my life, I also love it as a non-single. However, considering this was the video they were going to put out I am inclined to thank the LORD it was scrapped as a single. Give me Floppin' U Long Time anyday!
May 13, 200916 yr Hmm...I'm not sure this would have been the official video. From what I can tell, it was an anniversary present from Nick to Mariah. No doubt the bits with her miming for the lyrics would have been taken from the video that was shot, but I'm not sure the 'home video' bits would have made the video. Then again, in the last era, Mariah seemed to be all about shoving her relationship in our faces so I wouldn't put it past her. I actually still like this song, but it would have been an awful single.
September 1, 200915 yr I'm listening to E=MC2 now, and it is a travesty she didn't release Migrate and Side Effects. its a great album tho imo, I forgot how much I loved Mariah. having a right Mimi fest these past couple of days. although I still haven't heard any of her albums before Charmbracelet
September 1, 200915 yr Glitter is better than Charmbracelet, you should give it a go. It's still very patchy though. I'm in the middle of downloading her discography at the minute but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to find anything even a tenth as good as TEOM, if only because most of it was before my time!

In terms of Mariah albums, "Glitter" and "Charmbracelet" were the two albums I had less inclination to give a second listen. I think they've got about 3 songs I enjoy between them. :heehee: I agree what you say about not finding something as good if it's before your time. I find old albums hard to get into. If you haven't heard it yet, "Mariah Carey" is probably my favourite of the older albums. "Prisoner" is great, "You Need Me" is as well in a tremendously dated way and "Vanishing" is quite nice.
September 1, 200915 yr "Mariah Carey" is the only old Mariah album that I listen to. I love "Alone In Love" and "Sent from Up Above".
