May 12, 200916 yr cira perfoemed well for malta and ballads sometime sgo well so think malta may have went through on televotes i think the jury vote was either portugal of that dreadful isreal song if no t one of these its probably sweden
May 13, 200916 yr I think Israel did, I expect they were maybe 11th in the televoting though, I think it may have been: 01 Bosnia-Herzegovina :nocheer: 02 Turkey 03 Iceland 04 Armenia 05 Sweden 06 Romania 07 Malta 08 Portugal 09 Finland 10 Belarus 11 Israel 12 Switzerland 13 FYR Maccedonia 14 Andorra 15 Montenegro 16 Bulgaria 17 Czech Republic 18 Belgium ;|
May 13, 200916 yr I just read on esctoday that the Danish commentator presented Yohanna - Is it True as an RnB song  woops posted this in the wrong thread but I suppose it's all eurovision anyway :P Edited May 13, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238
May 13, 200916 yr Israel..i mean...who voted for THEM!? I would and I WILL vote for THEM on 16th. Oh and why are you saying "THEM"? Are you intolerant to their nations? If you want to say their song is not good then say so because atm you sound so nazi. I think Israel did, I expect they were maybe 11th in the televoting though, I think it may have been: 01 Bosnia-Herzegovina :nocheer: 02 Turkey 03 Iceland 04 Armenia 05 Sweden 06 Romania 07 Malta 08 Portugal 09 Finland 10 Belarus 11 Israel 12 Switzerland 13 FYR Maccedonia 14 Andorra 15 Montenegro 16 Bulgaria 17 Czech Republic 18 Belgium ;| LOLZ. B&H were a complete disaster to be number one
May 13, 200916 yr I say Portugal or Israel... Malta might be cos Chiara said that she calculated that due to neighbours about 8 countries were sure to pass.. so there were 2 places left and she was confident enough that the song will get that!
May 13, 200916 yr Anyway... are Israel part of Europe. I hate it when it is called EUROvision and non-Euro contries take part... If non - Euro countries will participate it will become a World Song Contnest!
May 13, 200916 yr Well it's a bit pointless to debate that right now  No, a lot of Eurovision countries aren't in Europe, but they're in the EBU, so they have every right to take part.
May 13, 200916 yr It started with 'Eurovision Song Contest' when only pure EURO countries participated. Now that the world changes these rules may be blurred a little and that makes non-Euro countries partake in ESC, 50 years with one name, why a sudden change? :P
May 13, 200916 yr In my opinion, Jury vote went to Iceland. Don't ask why, idk  I'm sorry, but WHY?! :/ The performance was stunning!
May 13, 200916 yr my thoughts are Portugal, Sweden or Malta... I hope it wasn't Sweden though as I want Malena to knock down the compeition...from 4th position, this is not likely to happen
May 13, 200916 yr I'm sorry, but WHY?! :/ The performance was stunning! I agree on it, but anyway i just feel so. i don't want it to be Israel lolz
May 13, 200916 yr Svante Stockselius has announced that the jury vote from last night's semi finished outside the top ten. Still think that it was Sweden.
May 13, 200916 yr :o :o 11th or at least 12th i presume, but not lower. I would ROFL if they chose Sweden again!
May 13, 200916 yr After consideration, I've narrowed it down to four choices: - Finland. Before you all massacre me with 'JURIEZ HAET UPTEMPO OMG' etc., the live performance was hideous enough to make me think that possibly the jury vote (made on the basis of rehearsals) may have saved it...however, I think the following are more likely: - Sweden. On early with a performance that wasn't anywhere near as good as the song warranted (except in the bridges...), with a song that juries would love. Most likely IMO to receive the jury vote for the second year in a row... - Israel. Jurygasms etc., and a pretty bog-standard performance. Not the typical thing your average televoter would go for as well... - Malta. Unlikely, given it's Chiara and all, but nothing can be ruled out...
May 13, 200916 yr I strongly suspect Portugal. They had a very bland stage presence that would not have appealed to the masses. Sweden and Malta had excellent singing - that's how they qualified rightfully. Israel was a bit iffy, but touching enough that some people took notice.

I see where you're coming from, but Portugals staging and song were unique, it looked and sounded like nothing else, and even though the song may not be to everyones taste it was unique enough that anyone who cared would remember and vote for it. It was also a great vocal, of it's type. If they had a later draw, they would have a chance of winnng, but I will say top 12 :)
