I wouldn't be surprised if this happened next year with Belguim, Andorra and Switzerland's never ending quests to reach the Saturday show.

On the one hand, yes, this should happen, because countries like Switzerland and Belgium are potential puller-outers, as discussed in the other thread, and I'd like to keep them.

 

But, the contest is already thought to be flawed as it is, with accusations of favouritism, and political voting. If we put juries in simply to help some countries get through just because they don't get through much, the contest becomes even more flawed than it already is. Also, we've all said pretty much that overall, SF1 was a fair selection of finalists ... who would we have to sacrifice to let those three countries in? On the whole, all those who qualified, deserved to.

I don't think we can really say until we know the full results of the televote in the semi. If Switzerland and Belgium (less so Belgium) are near the bottom of the list, then it may be an idea...
