To me, as a Liverpool fan, the season seemed to be in two parts. The first part saw Liverpool play with a fairly cautious approach which resulted in a number of frustrating draws. The second half, from the 1-0 victory in Madrid, saw Liverpool play with the bit between their teeth, control games, worked hard and seemed to have a positive approach. Will Rafa revert to the cautious approach or approach every game like they have since their 4-1 defeat of Man Utd?

We're not a cautious team. We have the best goal difference in the league.

There was a period of frustrating scores because teams decided they'd play for the draw and stick 10 men behind the ball and we found it difficult to penetrate defences that did this. But recently we've been letting teams play a bit more, and this allows us to attack on the counter attack, and kets be honest if you've got Gerrard, Torres and Kuyt on the counter attack there's a likelyhood we're going to score.

There's also a thing called naivety in football. Just because you're the better side on paper doesn't mean you're going to win. You can throw all your players forward for an attack thinking you're gonna score, only for the other team to hit you on the counter attack and score.

Number 19 will come next year.
