May 19, 200916 yr No, it didn't :( Roll With The Wind sounds incredible! Can't find a HQ though, i think it's not supposed to be leaked though. Funny Little Word is okay, not really my type of a song.
May 19, 200916 yr Sounds good... Did the album leak then? :kink: no, somebody posted a couple of tracks on youtube ^_^
May 23, 200916 yr Album getting a UK release according to HMV :o :o Off to pre-order! Do we even dare think that this might just do well in the UK!?
May 23, 200916 yr As long as you've got a couple of quid spare  I'm pretty sure this will flop TBH, unless they get him over here for promotion... TBH I'm not 100% sure Fairytale will be top 10 tomorrow :nocheer: But good on them for releasing it...
May 23, 200916 yr A taster of the album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BviXygd-kw...re=channel_page A good few cute uptempos like Fairytale which we've come to expect, but there are also some Regina Spektor-esque more mellow songs, and a couple of instrumentals. Sounds like a good variety and a very interesting album! Oh...and there's a cover of 500 Miles on there as well  Edited May 23, 200916 yr by Peter30
May 23, 200916 yr  he's made 500 Miles sound like Bluebells' Young At Heart I don't hear Maria in Vocalise :snif:
May 23, 200916 yr Good variety. "Song from a Secret Garden" sounds like the best one there. TBH, I can see this doing well over here. At least top 10 on iTunes (if it's released here :o). 'Fairytale' is still number one here, and his follow-up single is quite listener-friendly, so I'm pretty sure it'll have a good chance. Edited May 23, 200916 yr by Cal
May 23, 200916 yr Yes I can totally see that in Ireland. I guess I'm way off here, but something about Fairytale and Alex's violin style seem very Celtic to me. UK-wise it'll flop tho :(
May 23, 200916 yr many Norwegian entries sound strangely Irish in my opinion :o Alvedansen, Nocturne, Fairytale to name three
May 23, 200916 yr  he's made 500 Miles sound like Bluebells' Young At Heart I don't hear Maria in Vocalise :snif: Yeah, I hope this isn't Alex-plays-on-a-violin-and-Maria-on-fortepiano track without any vocals :snif: many Norwegian entries sound strangely Irish in my opinion :o Alvedansen, Nocturne, Fairytale to name three Surely not vice versa? :kink: :heehee: It makes them sound GORGEOUS tho
May 23, 200916 yr Surely not vice versa? :kink: :heehee: It makes them sound GORGEOUS tho  I'm Buzzjack's second biggest celtic pop fan (behind you of course Pavel :kink:) hence The Corrs being my favourite band of all time
May 23, 200916 yr I'm so glad you've put me above yourself. :kink: I won't even start about how i love They Can't Stop The Spring And not only this. Belgium 2003/Bulgaria 2007/Croatia 2006/Ukraine 2006/Israel 2008/All Serbian entries still give me a shiver all over my skin when i listen to it. I'm a sucker for national sounds. Bring on Elitsa/Stoyan to XVII btw :kink:
May 23, 200916 yr what about Estonia 2009 :o Bulgaria 2007 was truly stunning, even though my constant playing of it drove my family mad :heehee: are you really sending Elitsa & Stoyan to XVII :o
May 23, 200916 yr Estonia, forgot  I don't know yet, it's much time to decide. I only heard the Earth track today. It suounds quite Water-ish. Must find some other songs (if they exist) to compare. :o
