And here I thought it was Tjhe New Radicals, as the forgotten Mushy gem......

Oh my God, "Taboo". What a forgotten GEM.

Poor old Shola Ama trying to sing all sweetly, and then comes "IT'S GLAMA AND SHOLA AMA!!!!" in a comedy reggae shouty voice. GENIUS.

Also loving Pete Heller, Honeyz, Bryan Adams, TLC, Shania Twain, Stereophonics and the New Radicals. I had and have $h!t taste.

I always regard 1999 as a good year until I see one of these flashback charts! I only think dance music was the shining beacon of this year, it certainly wasn't pop music anyway...! FOUR boybands in the top 5! And I HATE Texas!

I have highlighted the ones I like... Not many!

cant argue against that, as my personal yearly charts demonstrated.... 1999 the year of trance innit ! ;)

Only have time for Fatboy Slim and SFA. Kula Shaker and The Cast were OK but the rest was absolute dreck. This is why I hated 1999-2000. Crap! I retreated into second hand record shops and out and out indie.
