May 18, 200916 yr Woohoo I'm going! In case you haven't figured that out yet. :lol: Some peeps would say I am crazy... but I am going alone to the concert. None of my friends are P!nk fans, and I figured it was too hard dragging someone along and worrying if they were enjoying themselves. I am not usually a very brave, or outgoing person at all... I actually don't know what has come over me. :P I have a standing ticket, so looks like I will be hanging with strangers all day. It doesn't actually bother me that much. Anyway I shall keep y'all posted. I hope to visit the venue a day or so early and perhaps catch a sound check. :) With my camera in case i happen to spot someone special.
May 19, 200916 yr Did I mention that I actually came pretty close to seeing P!nk this arvo!! I was in Subiaco (which is a little suburb close to my house, with a great shopping street) earlier on in the arvo... and I was going to stay and have coffee (lots of great cafe's too!) because I know P!nk visited Subiaco last time she was in Perth... and I thought she may return. I just never expected it would be today, I thought she would be tired from all the flying! Anyway so I saved my $4 for coffee and I went home. When I was home I logged into twitter and I saw that P!nk and Carey had been spotted in Subiaco... 6mins ago!!!!! My heart sunk! So after a bit of procrastination (should I, shouldn't I) and some talking into it by someone on twitter... I picked up the keys (and the camera!) and went back to Subi. It's not surprising, but I couldn't actually find her! I did see an old lady with pink hair tho, and that made me giggle. I spent about 30mins looking around, but nothing. I swear there was a car full of girls... they were driving a mini convertable, who were doing the same thing as me! Hahaha fun times. B) I think I shall be on the look out tomorrow as well. May 19, 200916 yr Author :lol: carly that sounds so much fun! even if you dont find her i think its fun trying, like i did when she was over here! i was expecting to find her in the smaller cities and ended up finding her in london where i was least expecting to see her! so dont give up, it'll happen :heart:

May 26, 200916 yr Oh man!! I have been so overwhelmed I totally forgot to update this thread :lol: I had an absolutely awesome night. I lined up from 11am in the morning, and i was dam well second in the line behind my new friend Robyn!!!! It is the closest I have ever been to the front! So when the doors finally opened, Robyn and I had pretty much the choice of the whole front row!! I tell no lies, we were the first and second people in the whole venue!! So we chose to stand at the end of the catwalk because Robyn had a very special cushion that she wanted to hand to P!nk. Dam I was so excited at that point! So we waited and waited. The support act was awful, the lead singer looked like he was high! Anyway finally P!nk came on, and I think I screamed my lungs out! She swung out on the rope thing (which I didn't see in Rotterdam because it malfunctioned) and it was just so fantastic. The whole show was just perfect. She acknowledged us in the crowd so many times (I think because we were so friggin loud!) What sent me past the point of no return was when Robyn held her precious cushion over her head, as P!nk was walking up the catwalk to do the acquostic set. I swear from about half way down the catwalk, she was like "awwwwww" (with the most adorable look on her face) "Whats that?" She said to my friend Robyn. Oh my she was so overcome by Robyns gift. I have to upload some photos for y'all to see. It was fantastic. I can't even really remember what she said to us, it is such a fuzzy blur. All I could think about was trying to get some photos!!! We weren't allowed cameras, but I got some fantastic photos!! During Trouble, she made a shout out to Carey who was sitting with the lighting guys. "I can't hear you Carey" she screamed out to him, and then did her adorable laugh!! Here is my video of it: (I had to cut the video in half because it was too huge to upload!) Also watch out for the bit where she walks into Spanky's guitar! :P Anyway I have a gazillion stories I could tell y'all. But for now I think I will upload some of my best pics.
