- Idol's original queen has sold over 10 million albums. Her latest release, "All I Ever Wanted," hit No. 1 on Billboard charts.

 

Kelly Clarkson, the first Idol champion, holds the title of most albums sold by a show alumnus. The 27-year-old with the powerful voice has sold over 10 million records since 2003, generating a steady stream of cash. Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted, released in March, is currently at No. 17 on the Billboard 200.

Its no surprise really, i mean the only thing that Kelly had last year to make money from was MD sales and ticket sales. Still not bad considering she wasnt very much in the public eye or releasing anything "big" last year.
