I know this may be a bit of a daft question, but are the songs REALLY the actors singing? Or do some have like ghost singers or whatever?

Yes, it's actually them, they just mime (pretty badly) on the show. That'd be pretty much my only complaint actually, the first two episodes were amazing.

Mercedes version of 'And I'm Telling You' is bloody AMAZING! :o WOW! WOW! WOW! (Aaron will CREAM!)

I think Mercedes is my favourite character so far, if simply just for the line "I ain't no Kelly Rowland! I'm Beyonce!" (Or something similar LOL!)

:kink: other way round, "I'm Beyonce, i ain't no Kelly Rowland"

Her version of And I'm Telling You was sensational. Loved Glee's version of Rollin Back The Rivers as well.

Not heard it yet, but I expect I'll vastly prefer the Jennifer Hudson version. Much as I love Mercedes, I've heard her version of "Bust Your Windows" and it's nothing on Jazmine Sullivan's original. But I suppose she has more in common with Jennifer Hudson can Jazmine, so I'll probably like it.

Agreed, she's bound to be my favourite, that's the best line so far.

Upon further watching, I have decided that Glee is more like Popular than HSM. Just not as OTT as Popular.

Definetly! Probably one of the reasons I love it so much haha.

I LOVE this show! I only started watching it online on Friday since I couldn't wait until Monday. I'm up to Episode 8, and I'm addicted to it! My favourite characters are Emma and Rachel. I love their version of Don't Stop Believin', can't stop listening to it.
I've watched the first two episodes and I love it! :D Don't Stop Believin' is amazing
Popular is my favourite ever show, it's fantastic! Glee isn't as great as it though but still amazing. Bring on April etc.

I'm so happy it's a hit in the UK now too. Best new show of the 2009-2010 season easily :D

Just orderd both albums from HMV, I can't believe they are releasing them so early!

The Glee songs are so going to be dominating my personal charts for weeks on end :kink:

arent they just the imports though? will they count towards the chart?

Those haters in the pop forum better not come in here or I'll bust some f***ing bows.

Yeah they are, I decided to make the extra effort and go to HMV directly and get them, and they all had a big, fat 'HMV Import' sticker slaped on the front of them :kink:

If you wait for the offical UK version to be released on the 1st March it has 'Say a Little Prayer' (which features on 'Showmance') as an extra 18th track. Kinda sucks, as I would have waited if I had known as I really liked Dianna Argon's version, but I guess I'll just buy SALP as a single when it comes out.

Also Volume 2 doesn't feature the medleys which I love, the only one it has is Don't Stand So Close To Me/ Young Girl. Damn I guess the downloads will have to do.

Oh, and that's an interesting question, does it count towards the offical chart? It must do if they are selling them in shops I would have thought?

Oh and and another thing is that when I imported the CDs onto iTunes it can't find the album artwork, which might not matter to some people, but I do find it a bit frustrating.

Apart from that I've had the albums on repeat since I got home :D

 Well there are quite a few Gleeks which wiil have your back I'm sure.

I'm so disappointed that some people hate this masterpiece
