June 3, 200916 yr Summertime Ball homecoming for Leona Over 55,000 music fans are expected to fill the Emirates stadium this Sunday. The Capital FM Summertime Ball is going to be even more special for global songstress Leona Lewis who is pulling out all the stops as one of the events main attractions. (BuzzJack.com) - The homecoming gig for Leona will be extra special as the stadium is in the borough she grew up in. Now Leona is never one to disappoint and has a real treat up her sleeves for fans. Word has exclusively reached me that Leona is employing George Michael’s Musical Director of 15 years, Chris Cameron, to put together her new band for her four song set. Chris has previously written string, brass, vocal and choral arrangements for artiste's as diverse as Lesley Garratt, The Stereophonics, Tina Turner and Take That. Leona arrived back in the UK yesterday from L.A where she is recording her second album due out later this year. The Summertime Ball kicks off at 4pm on Sunday and will be broadcast live on Capital FM. I'll be at the event so check back next week for a full review. http://www.buzzjack.com/story_284190.html Four songs is what I expected. :) Probably the singles BL, BIT, FM and Run. Excited she has a new band too!

Because I thought she was when I heard Bleeding Love but she sounded like she was singing Better In Time  I could still hear her when I got to Highbury & Islington station.

June 8, 200916 yr Wow, her she's definitely improved. She seemed so confident, and I'm distraught I didn't seek tickets.
June 8, 200916 yr That was the best I'd seen her move and interact with the audience on stage definitely. Really great stage presence, loved her attitude in Forgive Me. :D Crowd loved her too, singing along so loud! Really excited for her tour, especially if they get an amazing band like yesterday.
