May 27, 200916 yr Sure it won't detract from funhouse. This whole set is quite interesting (and unusual). I assume its timed to coincide with the tour as she is very much in the public eye just now with her current era still going well, and people who've heard old songs at the tour may want to pick up some back catalogue, so its great to have the whole lot at a discounted price. Got mine for £12 today, already had two of the albums but i'm a sucker for a slip cover :lol: Most artists' Greatest Hits benefit at times like these, but interestingly Pink has yet to have one despite 5 studio albums and (i make) 20 hit singles. With this is mind i think they've decided to reissue these albums as such (but discounted). Wasn't sure it'd be eligible for the main chart or if its sales would count alone or for each of the albums (either 1 for each or 1/4) but its appearing in the mids as 4CD set so looks like its sales will be separate too. Its just a lot of those 2in1 album sets (usually £3-5 in the cardboard slider cases) don't seem to chart at all but glad this one is. So what do people think? Should more artists do stuff like this as opposed to a GH? Or should they release box sets like this even with a GH available? Obviously this set gives you so much more than the singles, but does miss out non album singles/collaborations (like Lady Marmalade)

May 27, 200916 yr i dont have pink;s forst album but i havnt seen this boxset in the shops here in ireland yet now on saying that i havnt looked very hard as i have had a lot on but next week when things settle i shall have a look for it and see what the price of the boxset is here

May 27, 200916 yr Why do people have the same album more than once?? I got Funhouse more than once the first few weeks (and even before then) that it was out :lol: First I bought it from woolworths when they leaked it two weeks before the release (i could NOT wait until it was available on a torrent :P ) then I bought it on itunes for pre-sale tour password. pre-ordered on play.com hoping i'd get it a few days early, it didnt arrive early so i went out on the monday it was released to buy it from hmv I've got Missundaztood a few times too because my first copy wont play any more, its worn out :lol: and I also have different versions of the album (U.S/the version with the DVD), the same with Try This, there are several versions of that too. When I'm not dead was released I think I was going through a phase where I had a lot of money because I think I have that one almost 10 times now :rofl: but again some are different versions. I have Can't take me home in UK version and US version. I also have a downloaded copy that I got when it was first released because I was at school then and didnt have a job so couldnt afford cd's. I've also got a few singles more than once (again it seems to be more for IND era :lol: ) and I have lots of promo cd's too :cheer:
May 28, 200916 yr there are some album i have more than once not any pink ones but bon jovi kylie and take that i have 2 copies of all albums one i use the other i dont on saying that some of the 2nd versioins i have are different like deluxe or remastered....i dont this as much now a si used to as usually when i buy a cd i make a copy of it and if that gets scarted i do another copy that way my original cd;s are perfect and i always have them to listen to scratch free!!
May 29, 200916 yr The album was number 8 in the latest midweeks i was sure when midweeks said top 10 it would be number 10 but i think it safe to hold top 10 now come sunday
