May 28, 200916 yr Author How soon will you be there to watch setup, Norma?? How many of the concerts will Norma be attending???  I think I'm only going to the one (there was the possibility of another but things have happened and the second one is probably a no-no now). Not too bothered though, and I wouldn't have been heartbroken had I not been going at all as I really am not too fond of out-door concerts. The one I'm definitely going to is seated though - and in the block nearest the stage - although the seats won't be needed (as usually we're dancing) it is nice at my age to know that there is one there should I need it! And either way ... I'm not one of those who would be there to watch them set up - I should imagine from the rigs they've got it's about 36 - 48 hours solid work! I don't follow them round hotels either! Norma
May 28, 200916 yr I will be very interested how they prepare the gig. I am always very interested on "behind the curtain", how a concert is made, how the scene is build, technical information, etc. Sometimes more than the concert itself :teresa: . I loved Mark's tour on Ultimate Tour DVD. (But i am now quite sad. Depeche have to suspend their gigs and mine won't be made at a later point in time, but we should get tickets from other two gigs. Now my hubby has to take a day off, he is not happy and doesn't now if it is possible for him. Booooo  )
May 29, 200916 yr ya i love seeing how shows are made and what goes on back stage i always find it really interesting seeing how a show goes together
May 29, 200916 yr Author ya i love seeing how shows are made and what goes on back stage i always find it really interesting seeing how a show goes together I do - when its on the DVD - what I mean is - I wouldn't go along to the venue to try and hang around the gates to see how its done! Some people actually do that! Norma
May 30, 200916 yr Author http://www.sunderlandecho.com/news/Take-Th...s-up.5315503.jp I honestly don't know how any money can be made from this tour. The cost of this must be absolutely astronomical! Norma
May 30, 200916 yr Maybe that's why some of the tickets cost an arm, a leg, and one's first three children....
May 30, 200916 yr Author Maybe that's why some of the tickets cost an arm, a leg, and one's first three children....   Take That's concert tickets are actually very low - between £45 and £53. Norma
May 30, 200916 yr Take That's concert tickets are actually very low - between £45 and £53. Norma Maybe I misread the article, but, I thought I saw some special seating tickets for just over 63 quid.....but, true, those prices do seem reasonable enough, which is more than can be said for the likes of someone like, say, Madonna, who could command upwards of 200 quid per ticket....

I think the ticket prices for this time are actually the same price as the Ultimate Tour three years ago (and there's been the sell-out BW tour in between at the same price). They just keep the prices down - I'm pretty certain from what I've heard from Robbie Williams fans on the Take That site - he does the same - keeps prices affordable. Mind you - once the touts get hold of them - it makes nonsense of ticket prices to begin with. Norma
May 30, 200916 yr That's something that really gripes me, is, when these 'scalpers' get hold of a block of tickets, and try to sell them for astronomical prices....and, what's really disturbing, is, people are willing to pay those unreasonable prices to those 'scalpers'.....

I'm watching the FA Cup Final right now on telly and I can't see Take That filling that stadium four times over! Norma
May 30, 200916 yr Well, maybe twice-over would be respectable.....I agree, filling that stadium four times, with the way the economy is right now, would be a bit of a stretch....
May 31, 200916 yr The sun have tickets going for prizes for what they call the concerts of the year and that is quite true
May 31, 200916 yr I'd be mildly interested to see them live....if I lived in the UK....and could afford it....
