November 8, 200915 yr Author Maybe because some of the countries already knew Verka very well, like us, Belarus, Armenia etc. Plus it was another kind of novelty song, unlike Scooch, if you can count them as novelty. :heehee: Not taking away rivalry between Russia & Ukraine that year and that almost-a-scandal due to words 'lasha tumbai' resemblimg 'russia goodbye' with pretty close proximity. :o Edited November 8, 200915 yr by Pav
