June 25, 200619 yr Well Gwen spent nearly 20 years of her life in that band, she also formed it with her brother who sadly commited suicide so maybe she wants to keep it going for him - and if not that - she still loves the other members, they have a huge fan base, shes loves doing it. I don't see any reason why not as she can easily go back to being solo as well. And yes she's had 1 massive album but if she was a new artist it probably wouldn't have been so instantly big...she's where she is because of No Doubt so it's great they're returning and that she can go back to it. It was a band member back in the eighties who commited suicide, she wrote a song about him called "Wonderful Life For Him" (he was also her first kiss). It will be on her next album out later this year. Her brother left the band before they got really big, he went to work for Disney and now works with animations. The band never broke up but after twenty years of the same thing it is understandable she wanted to do something different, No Doubt was and is still all her and when L.a.m.b came out she said that she said that No Doubt were only on a hiatus. The album is rumoured to be out next year but it is too early to tell, I think it purely depends on how well the next album (her second solo) does. Edited June 25, 200619 yr by Notso_Hampson
June 25, 200619 yr what surprised me is usually when bands "take a break"they never reform so im very happy that no doubt havent gone down that raod,,i hope the enw album does well for them also gwen's solo career may well attract a few more people to no doubt as no doubt werent as mainstream as gwens solo music so it ccould all go very well
