KStew is amazing. She's my new idol. It's not just because she's like the world's most stunorific woman either, I think she's a great actor for the most part. All the tiny little nuances she incorporates are so human and make her seem like she IS the character rather than somebody saying scripted lines. When she stutters it's awful, like the scene in the hospital near the end of Twilight where Edward tells her to go to Jacksonville, but otherwise she's the shit.

Finally someone else who recognizes her amazingness  Although i loved her well before Twilight came out.

Jarks "Yes well done" remark was referring to a spam-y post which has now been deleted so do not take offence.

Scratch the last post, going to see it at 6pm on the 20th! seriously can't wait! :D
As a fan of True Blood, do I want to watch the first Twilight? I never bothered, cos it kind of looked like kids stuff... :teresa: But now I'm rethinking my position, even if I find it hard to believe in a werewolf with no body hair in human form :kink:

Ahhh i can't wait i have booked my ticket to make sure i am definitely seeing it.

Compared to the Sookie Stackhouse novels and the excellent "True Blood", Twilight IS total kids's stuff.... In fact, compared to Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, "Twilight" is for brain dead infants....

Such a tragedy that no one has actually done a really decent job of doing the Anne Rice novels the justice they deserve..... Neil Jordan tried valiantly with bravura film-making and lush photography, but ultimately, he was working with Tom fukkin' Cruise.... And, well, the less said about the absolutely bloody awful "Queen of the Damned" the better..... This time it was the actor playing Lestat who tried his best to breathe life into an absolutely terrible, disjointed mess of a script and flat direction.....

So, do you think that someday, someone could actually get "The Vampire Chronicles" right....??? I'm not exactly holding my breath, and probably Anne Rice isn't either.....

Anyway, I'll prob wait for this on download tbh (if I even bother with it at all), I wont waste my time in the cinema with it, I thought the first film was tedious teen trash... Buffy with all the humour, post-modernism and irony taken out of it.... As far as I'm concerned, the best Vampire fiction of recent years is "Let The Right One In"... Absolutely fantastic, atmospheric stuff, and actually quite damn nasty at times too...... Of course, the book is better than the film....

You can look forward to the US remake of it  "Let Me In"

Im quite excited for this tbh. I think the biggest flaw with Twilight was that there was too much "Getting to know you" parts and not too much to the actual plot. I think this one will be more plot and action driven, instead of yes, this is Bella, this is Edward and this guy in the middle is Jake, the last 20 minutes are two Vamp Clans fighting over Bella, end. So im hoping this one goes into a lot more depth.

You can look forward to the US remake of it  "Let Me In"

Why the hell are they calling it that....?????

I think I've already stated how much I am NOT looking forward to that one mate..... :P Another "Quarantine/Rec" situtation methinks.....

LET ME IN. Hahahahah, oh dear.

I don't want to work on opening night for this [or any night, actually], I know I'm going to be. Poo.

We have like, a massive poster of RPattz in one of our corridors and all the teeny girls keep grinding up on it. Ew. I bet it's sopping wet by the time I get to work tonight.

You truly have my sympathy Chemmie..... Another reason for downloading this - the 'Annoying-Teenie-Girls-Who-Probably-Wont-Shut-The-Fukk-Up' Factor..... Has ruined a fair few cinema going experiences for me that has... Most recently the beginning of Triangle.... Which was especially annoying seeing as how that was actually a decent film...

you actually saw the last one in the cinema? i know you go like once a week religiously or something, but actually seeing twilight? I had more respect for you Scott.

Didn't cost me anything... Well, except for the two hours of my life I'll never get back....

I didn't actually think it would be that bad.... I was wrong....

It wasn't "that bad" for fucks sake. I've never spoken to anybody who saw the film and hated it. Even the guys I've spoken to who were dragged to the cinema to see it ended up quite liking it. The great thing about the film is the mood and the cinematography which is impressive enough to make up for the fact that it's essentially a love story which might not appeal to guys. There's something for most viewers.
