That mechanical elephant is fantastic but the giant puppet/ringmaster is a bit frightening! I've been showing Louis loads of youtube clips and he's really excited. He's so excited too that Lady Ga Ga will be at the gig we're going to! He can brag to his mates at school.

its nice that he is all excited its great bringing a child to soemthing they are excited about and im sure he will enjoy himself even more on the night
Norma, you were right: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/culture...and-review.html . Very nasty  esp. to Gary and Mark (well, at least Gary is praised, but i wonder iff so only to get the other three down -_- ).

What ... calling Gary 'Fat Controller' again ... and he criticises the vocals of all of them - none of them have got brilliant voices (even Gary and Rob are really just - nice) but this McCormack fella hates Take That. I understand that they can't send a true fan to review the show - but I really don't know why a newspaper sends a reviewer who has always been 100% dead-set against a band to review its concerts. Having said all of those things - he contradicts himself and goes on to give the concert. At least the Guardian and Observer will be consistent - they'll give $h!te reviews and probably 2 out of 5 stars.

I got my second instalment / download from the iTunes pass this morning. It was brilliant - some really good shots of the set up of the first Sunderland gig and them rehearsing at the old Airship Hangar in Cardington. Fabulous! I must admit ... I was doubtful of them even half filling the stadiums but WOW - they've not seemed to have any problems so far. I think there was just the first night there were a few empty seats (high up in the rafters) but since the early reviews and footage on Youtube ... it looks like it is going to be a sell-out! I must admit ... even I had my doubts ... but not anymore! I hope no-one pinches our seats at Manchester!

As I said ... there were just a few empty seats at the first Sunderland gig - but after that ... positive reviews and word-of-mouth have ensure that it looks like there won't be any empty seats after that one. I was particularly encouraged to see the percentage of male concert goers has gone up again for this tour - there were quite a few blokes in Sunderland and Coventry so far!

Ya i read that there are alor of male attenders and alot of straight men at that too which is good as it shows they have manage dto cross over from what used to be an almost female and gay audience

I've just been on ticketmaster and seetickets to test the ground on ticket sales ... and according to those sites you can't even get single tickets for Croke park. Although for that I've read an article that they expect 90% of the audience will be female so they're converting the men's toilet facilities into female toilet facilities. I think they may be mistaken ... as when I went to Belfast a year or so ago .... at least a quarter of the audience were male! I'm sure the percentage will be higher this time round. I can see a lot of men in Dublin with crossed legs!

Norma

Im sure far more than 10% of the audience will be male, when the tickets were being booked it wa sprobably the girlfriend who had the role of getting the tickets

i have to try and get miley cyrus tickets friday morning, she is playing 2 night in december in dublin, luckily my daughter is unaware as we want to get them as a surprise but i have a feeling she will sell out very quick so im hoping to be lucky enough to get the tickets

Did I tell you I got tickets for Friday 26th In Manchester too? I'm taking my little fella! I was hoping that Lady Ga Ga was on that night too (a bit of street cred for the little fella) but she's only on the Saturday & Sunday. James Morrison is on the Friday - but Lou said he likes him too anyway! Win win! And he loves Gary Go!
