Good luck Norma! I'm sure you will get the job. If not, then we all know that it is their loss.

I went for an interview today and it seemed to go well ... did the tests ok anyway! Wish me luck!

Good luck, Norma!

Thanks for the good luck wishes Pete, Renee & Iris (and I know Biggie would add his as soon as he's on line) I'll let you all know how I've got on on Friday - that's when they're letting everyone know.

If this one doesn't pan out - I've got an interview at a golf club next week - and that sounds promising!

Norma

Golf club sounds like fun :teresa: . You will have for sure luck, as we both have not at loto ( we won like 6 euro together :teresa: ).

  I think I've long since faced the fact that I'm never, ever going to be a millionaire!

By the way Iris - have you watched the latest iTunes installment (The Manchester Spectacular) its been posted on youtube and I've put a link to it in the 'Circus Tour' thread. I think you'll like it .... lots of Mark (but I have to say .... Jason has been by far the funniest so far).

FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!!!!!

Fingers, toes, and other things crossed for you, Norma......

  I used to be a member of a golf club ... until they realised how much I swore when things didn't go my way! I'm pretty well up on the rules of golf - and I do actually love the game (well I love the Masters and the Ryder Cup - and any of the British Open when its not played on a links course). I think I'll have lots to talk about. Lets face it ... they're not going to get many women who know lots about golf and can type at 80 words per minute!

Well, no matter where you might wind up, Norma, best of luck.....and, I'm sure you'll charm them at the golf club with your girlish good looks, as well as you knowledge of golf....

As I'm sure you know, this year's Open Championship is on a links course, at Turnberry, Scotland...

I know! I honestly don't know why I don't like watching golf on a links course - they just look so bloody windswept and desolate! I like a nice, lush green playing area. I think my favourite has to be the Masters at Augusta. I've promised my husband when ( ) I win the lottery I'm going to pay for him to have a round of golf there. Although he's told me that even if you're super-rich - there's something like a 12 year waiting list to play!

The course they played the US Championship this year, they only allow a total of 24 players a day out on the course for a round of golf...if I remember, it was the Bethpage course on Long Island, in New York City....so, one can imagine the people camped out daily, even after making reservations, to hope for the chance to play that particular course...
The only golf I know anything about is miniature golf.

I didn't get the job! I'm not going to bother going for the interview at the golf club ... can't stand another rejection.

I feel like doing something wild and crazy - I think the next interview I go to I'm going to go absolutely stark naked and see if it makes a difference. I may have the face of a tired and haggard looking 50-year-old, but I have the body of a 25 year old minx! Unfortunately she keeps ringing me up ... she wants it back!

Norma

Ah Norma, i am so sorry  . I know how hard it is, i was two times unempleyed, each time quite a year. Very depressing each time when i had my papers back in letter box :( .

I am sure you will find something better! You have so much personality, no way that someone won't preffer that to someone young but without experience or personality...

Go for that club interview! You will never know! At my last interview, when i got the job, my actual boss has a very bored face and i was sure i won't make it. Keep going!!!

*wish i have something more clever to say :( *

Me neither!

Oh yes, i watched, but was kind of boring this one (beside the cute kids  , they will have soon a whole soccer team together, if only Jason will try harder). Wonder if any of them will go on music path.

The London one is more memorable... ending so sad with Said it all.

I am not into Jason humour somehow, but Howard's  ....

It is such a shame you didnt get the job Norma(their loss) but im sure you will get something soon, as for being a millionaire we wll dream of it i think i dream of it everytime i do the lotto especially when the jackpot is big, maybe one day we will win but if i win norma i will make sure to send you a few quid!

Norma, that 25 year old minx can't have her body back, it suits you too well.... ;) ;)

I'm with Iris, go for that golf club inteview, I think you might actually get the job, since you can dazzle them with you knowledge of the game....

As for rejection, I've been dealing with it for nigh on 6 months now, and, it's really p!ssing me off, to be honest... :arrr: :arrr:

Well, I am going to have to agree with everyone else. Go for the golf club interview. You sounded more excited about it in the first place. I know you don't want to get rejected again. I just don't want you to miss out on a chance for a job that you would enjoy.

Norma i agree if its something you would really like you should go for it as it is something you would enjoy and that is always half the battle i do think.

You may very much like the 'London Spectacular' on youtube now (in two parts I think). Howard is a very, very naughty boy and shows his bare bottom at the hotel window whilst Jason is being interviewed!
