I came back for a few minutes ... got distracted in the TT site ... am so thoroughly peed off with that site now. It appears the average age over there is 13! Judas Priest ... I've never known grown women get so worked up about a band! Paying good money for magazines just for the tiniest scrap of (useless) information or photos! Honestly ... I try to do my bit and save them money but do they listen? Nay, Nay, and thrice Nay!

 

Thank heavens for the BJ TT forum! Where adults can talk to adults! I think I prefer every one of the Robbie fans on BJ to the Take That fans on the official site!

First dilemma of the day! Do I do the BJ Quiz right now or wait to see if I draw an easier one later on tonight?

 

Just realised I was being as childish as the other silly bint on the OTT site last night! Must learn not to visit there again. I wouldn't mind ... all the media stuff that they post there ... I've usually found it myself days before. It is one of the least informative sites I've ever seen I must say.

I know what you mean - it seems like some people stalk that site just waiting to pounce on people. It's bordering on harassement actually! Have to say that I did buy GQ and it so wasn't worth it. The interview didn't even fill 2 pages. Was so disappointed - gave it to my brother!

That's what I was trying to tell them ... it wasn't worth forking out £4 if the only reason was for the Take That 'interview'. It was one paltry page of light-hearted questions and answers. In fact ... that whole 'interview' had already been seen in different bits being used here and there in other magazines and papers. But that silly bint (I won't name her ... you'll know who it is) said she 'didn't need advice on how to spend her money' from me! Little old me ... who was only trying to help! :lol: She was the same on the old site mind.

 

Do you know what bugs me though - the site owners or runners or whatever you call them - have now got on the home page - an ad saying something like 'The Take That covers are flying off the shelves, so if you have difficulty contact ..... ' and people will end up paying £6 for this mag with postage. For heaven's sake ... if people want the alleged 'interview' would it hurt them to NOT have TT on the cover? And the Take That covers were not 'flying off the shelves' ... I think for every 20 Lily covers there was one TT and one Mickey Rourke cover. It stands to reason that a 'straight' man's mag will sell more with a woman on the cover!

Don't blame you for saying something back - I would have. It was extreme provocation! I couldn't find a TT one at all and ended up buying a Lily one. Didn't even bother reading any of the other interviews. Am raging with myself that I wasted my money. Am buying a new apartment at the moment and every penny counts! I would deffo have taken your advice had I seen it.

If I were you I'd read every scrap of the magazine now. I bought a GQ a few years back mainly for a TT interview (but it was a really good, informative one over about six or seven pages - by a good interviewer). But I still made sure I got my money's worth by reading the bloody thing from cover to cover and there were about another dozen or so articles in there that were highly entertaining.

If I were you I'd read every scrap of the magazine now. I bought a GQ a few years back mainly for a TT interview (but it was a really good, informative one over about six or seven pages - by a good interviewer). But I still made sure I got my money's worth by reading the bloody thing from cover to cover and there were about another dozen or so articles in there that were highly entertaining.

Maybe I will. Had a quick flick at the time and was put off by all those pics of Lily Allen in her pants :lol: . I suppose it was to be expected that there wouldn't be pics of TT in their pants in a men's magazine :P

I hope we might have some Gary songs on it as he loves to make parodies (which till now i like - starting with She said who was not a parody but an ironic song and the "Over and over and over again" :lol: ). I think it may have the 'Greatest Day' parody on it! Which I must admit ... the lyrics are far better than on the original song. I think they were written by 'Comedy Dave' on the Chris Moyles show!

Well, it is not very difficult to have better lyrics than GD, perhaps that takes 2 points from the song in my books :lol: . But I still hope Gary and CM will make something new for the album :lol:

It is funny that you got slaughted again by the same persons, are they looking for your posts to get their anger out? :rolleyes:

You got my point didn't you? I mean ... I think Gary is doing a good job - but at the end of the day ... it raises his profile as well. Its the same with Rob and his annual football charity thing. Its not like I was even criticising Gary for having his profile raised ... I was just stating fact.

Speaking about flop, have you seen this? I cannot believe they call it a flop! It is the fourth single of the year in terms of sell if i am correct ! Even if i don't like it or Robbie's musical style for the matter, i won't dream to brand a no 2 as a flop!

 

News of Robbie's flop comes 18 months after unsold copies of album Rudebox were used to resurface the roads in China. Maybe all the unsold copies of his new single will end up in landfill sites. Then at least we'll know where the Bodies buried...
