I saw that ... is Simon Cowell trying to slowly bring in British songs? I'm sure one of the contestants was singing Something Kida Oooh by GA.

There's gotta be something better than GA.....

The sad thing is there are people commenting on the Greatest Day video on Youtube that they cannot find it to download. That is because it isn't available to download in the US. I am not delusional...I know they are never going to be popular here. But I hate the fact that there are some people in the US who saw it on Idol, want to download it and can't.

 

I noticed the Something Kinda Oooh audition too. Maybe Simon is behind all of it?!?!

Well, to be honest, todays pop music, for the most part, doesn't appeal to me, Renee....it seems pretty much all the same....almost as if cut from the same cookie cutter mold....I tend to lean more toward the hard/classic rock music.....

It was the same with Rule The World though after Stardust. I know lots of US users on IMDb asking where they could download the song and they couldn't ... it wasn't even on the OST for them to do so. The thing is ... Take That do songs that are real roof-raisers (that could be used at US sporting events) and yet they'll never get the chance. I can imagine RTW or Greatest Day being played at a break in the Superbowl.

 

I like Girls Aloud too.

It's really no biggie, Biggie. Sorry, I couldn't resist. I didn't take it as an insult. I like many different types of music. I don't expect everyone to like the same kind of music that I do. That would be boring!

I dont care for them too, but some of their singles are decent though.

No Take That entry ... but thought I'd post this here ... surely Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer is still the best (I think it has officially been recognised as the best via other polls).

I gave my vote for Outcast. Should i have three i have choosed Madonna with Vogue and A-ha with Take on me. :cheer:

 

I'm afraid nothing, nothing on earth (so far) is as good as the Peter Gabriel video. If I could have chosen three though ... the other two I'd have chosen would have been Britney Spears Toxic (I'm not sure though if that isn't just because I love the song so much) and ... A-ha's Take On Me. If I could choose 10 ... I'd probably have Robbie in there.

i may have a peak at this tomorrow when i get a chance, i agree you cant beat some of the old classics they dont make many classic films this days its bit like sitcoms they just dont know how to make them anymore.
