Yes, she's human, like the rest of us....not some 'faerie queen' that a few fans out there think she is.....she has emotions: anger, love, sadness....

 

I, for one, have never thought of her as a 'faerie qyeen', just a talented musician, who makes music I like very much.....

I'm so glad you can look at it that way! It seems like a lot of Enya fans can't... which Enya can't be happy about

That's not to say I would be a blushing, tongue-tied fellow, if I ever met her in person, because I would be, but, I'd probably manage to spit something out in speaking to her....I hear told, from a couple of online acquaintances, that she has a very disarming personality, and, they've noticed she has a bit of a mischievious side to her....one guy I know has actually met Enya 4 times in New York City.....and, another guy I know, she actually kissed him on the cheek when he met her once....

 

There are other artists I like as well, and, I don't habitually put them on a pedestal....I treat them, in my own mind, like a regular person....

He was right shocked when it happened...it was totally unexpected.....he was told, she was walking away, stopped, came back to him, and gave him a peck on the cheek....

 

He was told, you might wonder?? Well, he's blind.....and I forget that he is sometimes, when we get to chatting online....

The term "fairie queen" is so awful. She's not magical. :lol: She's a regular human being that is extremely talented. ^_^

Her music might be termed 'magical', but, she's not, in my book....as it's been said before, she's a normal human like the rest of us....
