I could go UBER risky and send Miike Snow but I'm far too in love with Kaci/YENN at the moment...maybe at some point in the future as a back-up risk :o I don't see Miike Snow ever getting particularly big so that's a pretty safe back-up for me...

Angelicland could win this imo. ;o Quotosibb will do really well, too.

Agreed about Angelicland, probably the biggest contender against Nonsuch so far. I would have probably sent (and backed out of Tegan & Sara again :heehee:) had I realised Cremey confirmed Mr. Hudson (who MPHO was supporting on tour :o) sooner. She's a bit of a mix between VV Brown and Santogold, which is perfect for BJSC.

I don't think it's necessarily vital to get the indie vote. "Can't Get Over" and "When Love Takes Over", despite being cheaper entries, didn't appeal to that crowd but still finished top 5. Then there's "Release Me" which did amazingly well.

 

I suppose "Shark In The Water" and "The Girl And The Robot" both got the indie vote, but I wouldn't say it's vital to have it yet. That said, I've been trying to get the 'indie vote' since flopping twice in a row with Estelle and Sara Bareilles bar the two entries I mentioned earlier in the post. (which are actually two of my best results since then, obviously I'm not good at getting the 'indie vote)
