That's a surprise. I'm surprised too that SIA is still hovering around the mid 30's on iTunes - I thought it would have all but disappeared by now.

Said it has has definitly outdone what we predicted and it is a sizeable enough hit now which is great, i thought it would sell 50,000 at most but it will sell almost double that aswell as pushing in a few album sails, looks like it was the right choice as 3rd single and a much better choice than the disaster was id wait for life!!.

ya #37 this week and a non mover and going from saales we have seen it has sold near 10,000 again this week bringing its sales nicely near 70,000

Its looking like another fairly steady week for said it all again this week as its current midweek position is number 40 so at worst it will hold top 45 this sunday and should see sales of around another 5,000 which is great, the circus is number 13 in the midweeks aswell.

i stand corrected a little in tuesdyas midweeks said it all was number 40 and in todays midweeks its number 39 so looks like it may stay top 40 as im sure the michael jackson affect will wear of more and more through the week.

SIA has done really well for a third single. I think it has performed better than U2's lead single from their latest album. I'm pretty sure it'll stay inside the top 75 for the next two to three weeks - its held more or less the same position on iTunes for the last week.

ya it has easily outsold U2's comeback single which is great cnsidering its a third single/ If said it all holds its steady chart run we may see it top 75 for another 5- 6 weeks, i think it will easily pass the 100,000 though as when this weeks are added in i think its passed 80,000

Said it all is still number 39 in thursdays midweek update so it is in with a great chance of staying in the top 40 come sunday for another week, the circus is also still top 13.

U2 single was the worse ever i heard from them. i was very disspointed  . Not a patch on their great music. They should try to make better music than only slogans and save-the-world speech ( i have nothing agains celebrities promoting their beleives, but Bono gets each time on my nerves)....

I agree the comeback U2 single was absolutly dire although i will say there new single il go crazy if you dont crazy tonight is a hige improvement, the album hasnt done great for them either its just barely passed platinum sales which is bad for a u2 album considering how long its on sale.

Its when you see acts like this suffering from sales decline we should realise how huge take that are, the circus has sold well over 1.8 million in the uk and is still top 15 in the current charts.

Vidcapper very kindly supplied me with sales during 2009 for GD, UAN, SIA and RTW.

GD - 128.7k

UAN - 117.6k

SIA - 73.9k

RTW - 80.7k

Remarkable sales for RTW considering it was initially released in 2007!

Great sales im happy with thise all round and said it all will be very near 80,000 this week, rule the world could easily manage a total of 100,000 by the end of year as its still top 85 at the moment, greatest day has also done quiet well its well pass 300,000 total now which is nice, up all night for a song that didnt go top 10 has sold very very well and as i said before said it all has far outdone what i thought it would do.

Thank you for posting this norma

Said it all has over 7,000 sales this week so that now brings nicely over the 80,000 mark, the michael jackson songs are starting to fade and without them take that would have been top 25 for the last 2 weeks, with jackson singles fading even further in the coming week said it all may manage another week top 40 which would be great.

Rule the world is now also Take That;s 2nd biggest selling single of their career, i was looking in the chart thread at the best selling singles of the 90's and rule the world has outsold so many of their old singles which i didnt expect,im gonna read the list in more detail tomorrow and pick out all of the take that sales and add them here.

The sales for some of the (older) Take That songs in those threads are inaccurate. One has sales of BFG at 725,000 - but it is only including sales up until 1999. Another has sales going up to 2002 - but it seems all of those are those that have sold a million. I do know for a fact (unfortunately - I cannot find my bloomin' source) that BFG is around about the 960,000 mark. So RTW has a long, long way to go to pass BFG - and I don't think it ever will.

Funny when i fisrt read the thread i was thinking im sure back for good had sold very near to a million copies, so that makes sense now,i know rule the world will never outsell back for good but in my own head i was convinved never forget and how deep is your love had both sold over 700,000 so i had though rule the world was about their 4th best selling single. From all their old hits i wonder which was their lowest selling number 1 and what was their lowest selling top 10 hit.

I know I was watching one of those 'Best UK Sellers' nearly a year ago on one of those Music Channels and at that point BFG had sold over 960,000 with HDIYL and Babe being TT's next biggest sellers. I'm sure NF has overtaken them by now though.

ya never forget would have drummed alot of low sales since the return as it also re entered the top 75 on the back of x factor so all that willl bump up its sales, wow i didnt think babe was so high on their best sellers list, i would love to know how the singles rank from first to last sales wise, we know the bottom 4 but after that apartfrom back for good and rule the world we are kind of lost.
