July 21, 200915 yr I dont know exact positiions yet but said it all isnt top 40 in the first set of midweeks. You can more or less judge where it'll land from its position on iTunes. On iTunes at present it stands mid-40's so I reckon that's where it'll be in the chart come Sunday. Norma
July 21, 200915 yr Author Im hoping around number 43 but the last 3 weeks they have ended up higher on the chart than they had been in the midweeks all week
August 3, 200915 yr Very weird. On the german official forum is written that Said it all will be also released in Germany. A still not confirmed release datum is 7th august. We don't know if it will be also as a CD or only as download and if it will be different to the UK one (if different Norma, i will send it to you!). But let just say: WEIRD!!!
August 4, 200915 yr Author i didnt think it would get releasefd their as germany got the garden, they obviously want to push the album a little more there
August 4, 200915 yr i didnt think it would get releasefd their as germany got the garden, they obviously want to push the album a little more there I honestly didn't think they'd bother releasing anything in Europe at all in future! Hardly worth it really - it'll probably garner the album 3 - 4 more album sales at best! Mind you - SIA is infinitely better than The Garden I suppose - but this is a bit like bolting the stable door after the horse has bolted. Norma
August 4, 200915 yr I like much more The Garden as a song as Said it all... But non of them is good as a single and will get forgeten too easily to have an iumpact on radio.
August 4, 200915 yr I like much more The Garden as a song as Said it all... But non of them is good as a single and will get forgeten too easily to have an iumpact on radio. After hearing nearly all the songs sung live .... The Garden comes off badly in comparison to the others. You'd be surprised Iris - What Is Love is brilliant - even though they weren't riding an elephant as they sang it!!! Norma Edited August 4, 200915 yr by Norma_Snockers
August 4, 200915 yr Well, actualy the elephant ruined for me The Garden. What should have been a song of deep feeling was transformed in a global cheering at the elephant so the meaning of the song goes lost. It has in my head nothing to do with the song - i am very keen to hear with what explanation they will come on DVD for it. I love the performance from What is love and also like the voice of Howard very much, but the song still for me very predictible and boring ...
August 4, 200915 yr Author I love the garden and would have prefered it to have been a single instead of said it all, tobe fair said it all has done very very well and a lot better than i expected, but now that album sales will slack off i think they should gamble a 4th single, yes it wont be a huge hit but that wont affect them in any way but it would drum up album sales, and im sure no matter what they release would get fairly decent airplay which would again help the album. I have seen a few live perfromances of the garden and i have to say i think it comes accross very well live.
August 5, 200915 yr I have seen a few live perfromances of the garden and i have to say i think it comes accross very well live. The live performances of The Garden never quite convince me. Not sure whether it is the atmospherics of the song ... but to me they never seem to be performing it 100% live! If I'm honest ... I've just gone right off the song ... there are too many on the album now that, for me, are better than it. It would have bombed as a single in the UK. I hope they don't go for a fourth single if I'm honest. If they feel they must then it has to be Hold Up A Light - a really nice up-tempo but credible song. Hope they go for that and not Hello! As much as Hello was great during the concert ... it just doesn't stand up on its own. By the way Pete - according to the Take That site - the 'London Spectacular' from the iTunes Pass is now available as a free download on iTunes! Only the London one though. August 6, 200915 yr Author Just looking at todays midweeks and said it all is number 52 today which means if it stays there it will re climb this week which i so didnt expect, this will be its 10th week top 75 now,and interestiinglt rule the world is still top 100 i wonder will it eventually manage 100 weeks in the top 100
August 9, 200915 yr Author Im very impressed as Said it all has gone back into the top 50 this week climbing 7 places to number 49 and spending its 10th week top 75,(100,000 here it comes i think)
August 11, 200915 yr The making of the video for SIA. Watch out for Howard at about 1:06! x6MlAFx5te0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6MlAFx5te0 Norma Edited August 11, 200915 yr by Norma_Snockers
August 16, 200915 yr Author Im a little surprised that said it all has dropped out from the top 75 this week from a re climb to number 49 last week
August 17, 200915 yr So, SIA won't be released in Germany. Not surprozing, as they are still tired and not ready for promotion once again. It got airplay, esp. in south Germany (we have in Ost only rap, greeat! )
August 20, 200915 yr Author Said it all dropped from #49 to number 87, i certainly did not expect a 38 place drop at all.
