Posted June 8, 200916 yr Vampire-mania is back after the whole Buffy/Angel series ended, with Twilight (Book and film) being a worldwide hit and now two new series have been spawned off the back of Twilights success... True Blood (which has already premiered and is soon to start its second season) and The Vampire Diaries (which premieres later this year). Both are based on existing books and i definitely recommend watching True Blood to tie you over till Vampire Diaries premieres. Its seriously amazing. Its a really good adaptation! The first episode is so amazingly written and i can wait to see how it turns out  Slight warning though, violent images are very graphic and also include some pornographic images Trailer uK1D9vGJePc
June 8, 200916 yr I'd recommended this. :) I've watched the first season online and it was really good! :D I'm still reading the book though. Edited June 8, 200916 yr by Cal
July 9, 200916 yr BEST SHOW EVER. I never watch television but my friends made me watch one episode and I am f***ing hooked! JOAO, LET'S MAKE A FANCLUB.
July 9, 200916 yr Calm down lads..... True Blood is not bad, but nothing really amazing (at least it's a lot better than the excrement that is "Twilight" though), YET...... The stuff that Alan Ball does is slow-burning though, I never thought that much of "Six Feet Under" until it started shifting into a higher gear with later seasons.... There's a lot of potential with this though.... And, I dont doubt that Alan Ball will realise it.... So far, relatively free of the usual Vampire cliches, and for that one should be grateful.....

It depends where your at with the series tbh... What episode/season are you on?
July 10, 200916 yr I'm so confused. Is this for the first season? If so I'll be watching, if it's season 2 I'll weave in and out
July 10, 200916 yr Author Im assuming that its for both  Since we have two topics i guess one can be used for US and another for UK?
July 10, 200916 yr Either way, next Friday. It's gonna be so exciting :) Edited July 10, 200916 yr by Spiral
July 11, 200916 yr It depends where your at with the series tbh... What episode/season are you on? Have to confess, just started to download season one..... Watched about four episodes..... I always prefer the cable shows to the network ones, you can always get away with more sex, violence and bad language..... Anna Paquin is a great piece of casting for this show.... First rate....
July 11, 200916 yr True Blood makes Twilight look like a mother f***ing crock of $h!t. Twilight is unthreatening, inoffensive, bland Vampire fiction for 10 year olds, True Blood is more for adults.... Goes without saying that True Blood is better.....
July 11, 200916 yr this is gonna be so exciting! It looks really good. The only other show that I liked from HBO was Sex & The City
July 12, 200916 yr The only other show that I liked from HBO was Sex & The City Are you kidding me....? You didn't like The Wire, The Sopranos, Carnivale, Deadwood, Generation Kill, Rome, etc.....? Sex and the City frankly got to annoy me after the second season..... A bit like "Friends".....

Goes without saying that True Blood is better..... The books are actually ok... but yeah the movie is just dreadful. And there are ALOT of adults that are obsessed with Twilight, so you know... :arrr:
