October 8, 200915 yr Loved it. I'm going to watch the next couple of eps now. Love Bill and Sookie's brother, I recognised him but I can't remember what from. I also loved Sookie herself and the black girl.
October 8, 200915 yr True Blood made a decent debut on Channel 4 last night, according to early viewing figures. The first episode of the vampire drama, which stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, pulled in 1.56m (10.2%) between 10pm and 11.20pm. A further 145k (1.9%) tuned in on timeshift. Previously, FX's UK premiere of Alan Ball-created Blood drew 292k (1.8%) on Friday, July 17.
October 8, 200915 yr Yeah the beginning of True Blood is the worst. First couple of episodes I wasn't overly fussed on, but it gets a lot better as it goes on. I really liked the middle episodes, but maybe that might have been because of one of the storylines... Not bad ratings. I'd expect them to improve though. It's that type of show.
October 8, 200915 yr i think i'm going to watch episode 5 and 6 later. Thats 5 episodes in a day. It's great being ill.
October 8, 200915 yr This is simliar to Alias in that it always seems to end on a nice little Cliffhanger. Means i'm gonna be watchin S1 until Bones :heehee:
October 8, 200915 yr i never watch tv series' but i'm definitely converted after watching this! it was so good and it definitely lived up to the hype that i've heard about it. i was a bit put off by the whole vampire thing before i watched cos i'm not interested in all these wizardy/vampirey films and i just thought that it's just gonna be a twilight rip off which i've been avoiding like the plague but i was pleasantly supervised cos i really enjoyed it. can't wait for next weeks..
October 10, 200915 yr WTF with the the Twilight comparisons on Pg1 . I'm still anticipating getting addicted to it, not quite yet though. Channel 4's ratings are quite low in general though - 1.5m for a hyped program is pretty poor. Even though it's one of the terrestrial channels, it's quite an underrated channel tbh, compared to the millions that BBC1 and ITV1 pull in, with programs that are breathtakingly $h!t (i.e. The Cube, watched by around 5 million on Saturday nights i think). Maybe it's just because there isn't much shown on ITV and BBC that's targeted at anyone below 30, but still, i'm not sure how anyone can actually be entertained by them/watch them for a reason other than watching them by default. Anyway, i better stop, i'm ranting...
October 11, 200915 yr Season 1 is pure epic but i wanna know why sam is takin all that cash out the safe at the end???
October 12, 200915 yr Anna Paquin is on Graham Norton  her voice is so different from her character in the series

October 15, 200915 yr So episode two was again great, a bit slow on the action but the script was sharp and the characters had a chance to grow so it didn't matter.
October 15, 200915 yr Author Glad your liking it Jark ^_^ like we've said stick with it, you wont regret it!
